She is another one obsessed with a painting, like Han Ye in Legend of Anle,. He could not draw Anle's face for years. Princess must have drawn the fiancee's face, by wishful thinking.

I wasn't paying attention to the backstory, except that she killed 30,000 soldiers. Is Lord Ding, Emperor's brother, but not Dowager Empress' biological son? I see that she is jealous of Ding, and hates him.

I started with LYF & LOA before then got bored and came to MLC. Now I'm addicted to MLC and already re-watched…
After watching LYF, I had to up my rating on LOA, from 6.5 to 7. LOA with its plotholes, was better than LFY, in my honest opinion. I also liked Cang Xuan in the last two episodes.

Your set design is perfect. It should be in a drama. The action scenes looked movie quality. You said it was a Hong Kong team, which explains it. I gave it 9.5, too, which is rare for me.
