LOL I thought it was just me. Ziyu seemed to be a fish out of water in the first three episodes. Maybe he is doing it on purpose, to avoid scrutiny. He got wrangled into the title of Sword Wielder. Talk about a big promotion. LOL

He reminds me of Cang Xuan at the start of Lost You Forever.

This is a very tense, suspenseful drama, owing to the dramatic movie quality BGM. The two main actresses do not seem like assassin material. Shangguan Qian is very annoying to listen to. Yun Wei Shan should have slapped her a few times in episode 3. Shangguan acts like she is Supervisor Assassin.

There was a jump in the plot between the ending of episode 2 and the beginning of episode 3. During the down time, Old Grouch Gong and Young Lord Gong were assassinated. Talk about fast tracking. The details are explained in flashbacking.

Even in a supporting role, she stands out in the cast.

I can't wait for young Miss Ai Mi to grow up, and get main lead roles. She is very charismatic on screen.

I had a double take. I didn't know Ekin Cheng was doing dramas. LOL

He's not even listed in the dramawiki page, and that has an extensive cast listing.

I am watching the first episodes on the IQIYI Youtube channel. I watched episode 1 for thirty minutes, when I realized I needed to turn on the subs. LOL I don't speak Chinese. The scenes were very dramatic.

Love Lost in Times was frustrating to watch. Idid not skip any episodes, but I was shaking my head constantly. The magic stones plot was ⁉️😕 LOL

I feel sorry for Xue. He survived due to Princess' magic pill. A day or two later, she stabbed him to death. I was hoping he would survive the palace smackdown.

I recognized the actor from another drama.

It was pure theatrical stage performance.

Episode 25 and 26 were riveting and tense. The palace scenes with Yan, Emperor, Xue, Princess, Dowager Empress were like watching a Shakespeare play. The detailed conversations were well written and well acted. I can't wait for the followup in episode 27.

I don't remember much about the drama. I should rewatch it, since I have since watched a few of Jin Yong's dramas.
