I thought the final scene was in the present time, and that Lu Chen was off to another city for an assignment. Ep 30 was walking down memory lane. I skipped the flashbacks, since I might have seen most of those scenes already. I jumped to the final scene.

I was not surprised me that ep 30 would be 90% flashbacks. I skipped over the flashbacks, to the end.

She is shallow, but intuitive.

I think the writer uses Son Chuan as the voice of reason. His advice is on point. As of episode 12, he is decisive and rational, unlike Jie jiao Jiao, who is spoilt and condescending.

Watching LLTG, I thought Leo Wu's General Ling Bu Yi was around 30, but he was around 20. Leo Wu carries himself as a mature actor. He's Number 1 in his acting skills, among C-actors in his age group. He uses his face and his eyes, and body frame, when he is performing.

I thought it the same thing. Before they went up on the stage, I thought it would be a talent competition. I was hoping to see Leo Wu sing. Playing musical chairs seems unprofessional, but looking back, I remember going to a company team building seminar, a week after I started the job. The company had a bad morale issue. One of the group exercises was a musical chairs interlude. It was team building. LOL XD

I loved the dress. The wardrobe department did a very nice job on dressing Zhou Yu Tong.

You should give it a try. The episodes are not dragging. There is a lot of singing, but I turn off the volume sometimes. The plot and the pace are good. The ML and FL are most of the other characters represent regular people you might encounter in a lifetime. The half-sister influencer-to-be is exaggerated, but I guess they needed some comedy elements.

I canceled Viki because of the slow pace of subs. I watch the C-dramas on kisskh, dramacool or Youtube for free.

I just watched 11 and 12, and I was disappointed that I have to wait a day to watch the next two episodes on kisskh. What's with the tradition of toasting the upper management or clients three times, and drinking yourself drunk? Do the females do this to show they are as competiive as the males? They use this trope in many C-dramas.

Your comments are on point, especially about the Kdrama parallel. Jie and his rival, Nate, are opposite, but alike. Their scruples are thin. They must have their eye on Chairman Gao's chair, when he retires. Jie is a two-headed snake.

I love Chen Zhe's role. Li Qing is one step away from becoming an executive in the Club operations, and showing his parents that he has worth. He certainly qualifies to be Assistant Coach.

When I pick up a K-drama, I have trouble sitting through the episodes. Sometimes, the length is over 60 minutes. I became accumstomed to the 45 minutes' C-drama episode, minus the open and end credits.
