Jie is very manipulative, and will use her again. She accepted his mysterious offer again, knowing his duplicitous…
The ironic thing is that Big Jie vs Little Jie is amusing to watch. The poor wife and mother is about to pack her bags. I laughed when she said they would not be sitting down to family dinners in the future. She should go on a vacation, and not tell them.
I personally find that believable cuz one thing that some of your superiors are going to do is gaslighting you…
I agree with you. My supervisor gaslighted me big time. He attacked my integrity and my competence. Similar thing happened when I was in secondary school. The good news is that I watched my enemies lose their employment.
Still better 2 episodes every day and not like others 2 every week, which is torture..
Yeah! That's one of the reasons I lost interest in new K-dramas five years ago. Two weekly episodes make the drama feel longer. Twenty-four episodes would the equivalent of twelve weeks, etc.. If we get six or more episodes weekly, the drama ends quicker.
Love how the ML’s simple phrases can inspired FL. And FL’s reflection also help ML to find his direction again.…
San Chuan is a motivational coach without the BS. After he masters the tennis professional arena, his next career should be a motivational coach for adults and children.
I really love the way they've written the ML & FL. They are such great characters... true role models! They are…
This is definitely my favorite drama for the year, to-date. I like this couple better than the Road Home couple. I jumped off the New Vanity Fair wagon after twelve episodes, because there is no cohesion between the ML and the FL.
NBY is turning into my favorite drama 2023, with every episode. I just finished episode 10, and I wish they would post four episodes daily. Son Chaun is bonding fast with the tennis team players and coaches. I am waiting for Jiang Jiao Jiao to throw a hissy fit when he sees his best buddy chumming with Son Chuan. It's better to be productive than lazing around, or whining. Since the drama is 38 episodes, I guess it is a long way before Jiang Jiao Jiao and Son Chuan bond on the court, and off the court.
I am curious what is the motivation of the Young Space Tennis Club. To raise up the members to professional status, or just be a hobby house for the rich members? You An should inform Jie, if they do not get the budget dollars, she will double or triple the membership fee for the rich members, since the parents can afford it. At this pace, with no salary or maintenance budget, You An might be still be working for free, like she did at Young Space. It looks like Jie is treating her like a patsy (...a person who is easily taken advantage of, especially by being cheated or blamed for something). Once she makes the tennis club successful, he might kick her to the curb, again.

I saw your comment yesterday. Jie's new business collaboration is to utilize You An as a shield against his wife. The bad experiences with her father should make her wary of Jie's motives. Obviously, the man knows how to charm the women. He looked good looking for one second. I wonder if he married the wife because her family is rich. They live in a luxurious house, and the son is privileged. He deserves Anime stepsister as a DIL. LOL
No shyness in their kisses! Is it just me, kept noticing the bright light at the background of most kisses. Is…
Yes! The drama tricks are very irksome and tiresome... like singing overlaying character's dialog, singing every five minutes, BGM overlaying character's dialog, flashbacking cutting into scenes, scene intercuts.
The rich spoilt guy has a story actually we shall only get to know it after song San Chuan joins the tennis team…
I see that FL despises the father, but enables the half-sister. Why is the Anime female living in her apartment, when she obviously despises FL? I would have kept my distance from the entire family. The stepmother is also trashy.
I hope said scumbag doesn't get a redemption arc.....I think they're trying to aim for that even at the beginning.…
The scumbag's apology was watery. He's manipulative and self-centered. He deprecates his son, and ignores his wife. The first episode indicated FL worked 24/7, 365 days a year (...was it four years in a row?). She was never compensated for her overtime. Her job duties were not of an executive assistant. She should have been paid an executive salary. She was writing contracts, negotiating talent, arranging promotions, directing traffic in the office, chauffeuring, personal shopper.
I seriously melted at that powerful scene. I mean, in that awful situation with the boss yelling at her to leave…
Boss is a snake. I could not believe that she met him later for food and drinks, and accepted his new job offer. She should have thrown her badge and award plaque in the trash, for all to see.
Not the boss gaslighting her with the "you want to be an independent person" that's why you quit... You fired…
Jie is very manipulative, and will use her again. She accepted his mysterious offer again, knowing his duplicitous character. I don't understand the flashback where she agreed to follow him out the door. She was naive, thinking her career would rise, if she latched onto him. Now she is 32, she should have more sense. She worked like his slave for those years. I didn't see her ask for her 20,000 yuan for the present she purchased for his mistress.

I noticed that lighting effect. Director must think it is cute, but the viewer's eye is drawn toward the light. At first, I thought Director was trying to diffuse the kiss.
I am so conflicted with Luchen's parents divorcing/not divorcing episode. The mother is scared of being lonely and alone. The father is proud and self-centered, and cannot change his bad ways. If they and Luchen think this is a reconciliation, they are delusional. The father will become abusive when he is drunk. He has some psychological problem that caused him to abuse Luchen and terrorize the other siblings.
