After watching The Love I Give You, I started bingwatching this drama. Main couple Xixi and Sichen are cute. Obsessed SML Mo Zi Xin is slightly annoying. He should hook up with obsessed SFL Xiwei. 2nd couple Shang Ke and Mu Rou Na are boring. They should have cast an older actor for Shang. This actor looks and acts like a child, and is unbelievable as a CEO. I like Mr Alex, and Grandma is an adorable old lady.
I am at ep 17. That Zhu Zhu female is the most annoying character. She is a clingy, suffocating parasite! Poor Dr Zhou! I feel like slapping her head every time she appears.
Tragic end! I wish Gye Baek had taken out his adversary Great General Kim Yoo Shin before he died. Kim Yoo Shin, who wanted to kill him for the entire drama, didn't even face Gye Baek on the final battlefield. The acting and interaction by the main characters seemed stiff and unemotional. I skipped two dozen episodes, and watched the final four episodes.
I'm with you. The current tags are thriller, historical, mystery, romance. I'm loving the cast, just not sure…
I have trouble sitting thru the Korean costume dramas. I get restless during the first episode, which is odd, because I used to watch the genre years ago.
What I'm most afraid of is that when it ends in episode 36, the story is not finished; continue to the season…
I watched PA diligently every day. At the end of the final episode, I said, "WTF?" So disappointed in the ending. They wasted the budget on the 58 episodes, if they could not wind down the whole story within that time frame.

If they deleted Yun Xiang's drunken episodes, they could expanded on the pirate conspiracy, and Lord Liu and Yun Xiang would have shut it down by episode 36.
Neither Mo Bufan nor Kang Qiao's old Master! The writer is sadistic. Meanwhile, the one who should have died,…
The writer became so focused on Yun Xiang and Prince Fu, that he neglected the satellites. The drama team woke up one morning and said, "Damn, we have to wind it down in four episodes." They started scrambling like chickens without a head.
Did Master assemble all the Yun Tai members to kill them off? That would mean that he wasted twenty years supervising them (anonymously). Did he presume that they would blindly accept his scheme to overthrow the Emperor? Was Fu planning to promote Nangong as the next Master?
Moral of the story: If the sect members do not know the Master's identity, something sinister is going to happen.
Very nice reviews from everyone above! I learnt many little details through this MDL comment section. Sharing opinions and feedback, we can conclude that we were on the same page (... more or less) while watching the drama.
