Same here! The ML is the calmest, pleasant male lead character. He has the patience of a saint, dealing with that tyrannical dictator, Old Xu. she should be the President of CCP.

I love the ML and FL, and am watching the drama for them only. All the satellite characters are annoying, except for some medical staff, some airline staff and FL's mother. I fastforwarded many scenes to finish the drama in five days and nights.

Mother Xu is a battle axe, as my Mother would say. Old Xu eventually has a meltdown, which made me happy. Even after Karma taught her a lesson, she went back to her domineering ways. Retribution will visit her in the after life. A lot of irritating characters in this drama!

I have reached ep 39 of Centimeter of Love. The story is about dysfunctional families, and nutcases within the family unit.

Because my family and paternal relatives were dysfunctional, I can relate to the drama. The drama should have been named Dysfunctional Family. There are extraneous parts in the drama. Fast forward at your discretion.

The ML looks like Lee Seo Jin, in build and height, and carriage. I recommend the drama, and using the remote control to fast forward some segments. The drama is 44 episodes, but should have been 36 episodes, maximum.

Xu Di, nutcase Grandma from Love Like the Galaxy, is domineering tryrant/megalomaniac Mother, but Karma gets her finally. She has a meltdown, but she returns to her domineering ways. Actress deserved the acting award for Best Meltdown in a Drama.

I am fastforwarding the scenes with Mrs Xu, Mr Guan, Lin Jie and Zhen Lei. They would make the perfect dysfunctional family unit. So full of themselves, and belligerent! I did watch Mrs Xu's meltdown with Lin Jie, who deserved it.

The characters are miscast. Mrs Xu, Mr Guan and Zhen Lei and Lin Jie should be one family. They are the most odious, clingy people. That Lin Jie girlfriend is one step below Mrs Xu. She would also stifle and suffocate Dr Xu, if he married her. Mrs Xu wants to be mother, housekeeper, cook, shopper, personal manager, companion to her son.

Mrs Xu is Xu Di, who played the nutcase grandmother in Love Like the Galaxy.

I have been binge watching the drama. I am on episode 11. These parents are so controlling. Only FL's mother is normal. Bei Bei's parents are semi-normal. I am glad the father-in-law saw through Zhen Lei's hypocrisy.

After watching episode 1 today, I can recognize the meddling parents (FL's father and ML's mother) and FL's spoilt brother. If FL did not have a mother, I would have matchmade FL's father and ML's mother. LOL

The title should be Legend of Ye Zi or Song of Ye Zi.
