Can someone clarify about Lu Chen's father who beats his children when he is drunk. Is he, the biological father? Lu Chen talked about his stepfather, who died. How many husbands did his sick mother have? Was it a translation error about the stepfather?

I am very scared that the father will be killed while on duty, and the boy's mother will claim her son. Lu Chen has no legal rights to Xiaonan. There must be a very good reason why the father has full custody of Xiaonan.

He looked buffed and manly in Taste of Love. It might have been his modern clothes. His buzzcut hair cut also helped. I could see him playing a police detective.

I did not like Deng Kai in Blood of Youth, but I liked him in Taste of Love. 🥰 I am looking for his other works.

There were charming elements about the main couple and their relationship. The writers could have kept them, smart and resourceful. I liked watching them, and the second couple. Just some of the situations were inane.

Final comment: Mission accomplished, I finished the drama. I am glad it finally ended with Gao QiQiang found guilty of his three dozen crimes. Very good production values! The drama length could have been thirty episodes. Some subplots dragged on.

The drama wardrobe supervisor did a great job dressing all the actors/characters. Gao Qi Qiang wore expensive designer men's fashions. Aa a female, I would wear his clothes. His fashions looked unisex. His right-hand men, Tang Brothers also dressed very well. Shuting was the prettiest woman, and she dressed elegantly and fashionably. Everyone had good hairstyles except An Xin and Guo Shan Feng. I don't understand An Xin's charcoal grey mop top. The color is not a natural grey, and usually comes out of a bottle. An Xin never went to the barber to cut his hair. It looked like he was bald, and wore a bad cheap wig.

The ending could have been a lot better. The wedding was at the ML's house. Even though it is a beautiful house, the couple could have afforded a wedding hall. Tong's mother was rich. Before the wedding, the ML got stupid in love. Those stupid attempts to propose to her were unnecessary filler. Tang Su pushing into the pool was dumb. The violence was unnecessary.

She started out, competent. Once she regained her Idol career, she lost some sense.

This is the third drama I watched with Wu Gang, and Knockout is the first drama that I really liked him.
