I would love to watch a sequel with the seven Avengers (6 + Wushuang).

It was probably an afterthought to resurrect Tang Lian at the end. They didn't give him a full scene in the special "episode" ...just a walk-on and a smile, and flashbacks of his drama life. The editor patched that scene together on the fly. Lei Wei Ji prattled for most of the villa scene.

Even the final shot of Wuxin and Xiao Se on the mountain was less than 30 seconds.

Both Yu and Director were conspiring to kill Emperor. The Junior eunuch was taking his instructions from Director since they are in the same administrative department. 😂😂

I agree that Chong or Uncle Xiao should kill Director off, otherwise Director will plan another coup in the future.

I am glad his plan backfired.

The final four episodes were epic drama. I am glad I stuck with the drama.

That was it? 🤔🤔🤔 Tang Lian had one minute of original content. The rest were flashbacks. The writer could have done better with Tang Lian's return.

Reading the book overview in the comments below, I would not bother to watch the drama for Mark Chao. It might be an acting challenge for Mark Chao, but the content would be a detriment to viewers.

If the special episode is only 5 minutes, it means that the editor intentionally cut it out of the final episode. Due to the popularity of the character, the production company decided to release a special episode for the fans.

I wasted an entire morning, not knowing the episodes were available. I checked the kisskh site a few minutes, and saw the episodes.

I dropped Love at Night after ten episodes. The pretty couple could not keep my attention.

I watched the drama because I wanted to see Liu Xie Yi's acting. He was very good in the drama. The plot had holes. I had dropped the drama after two episodes two years ago, btw.
