I was waiting to see Chipan find out that Zhang Hao Hao was marrying another man, and moving away. It would have been funny to see him pleading with Hao Hao to take him back. The director hired such a nondescript actor to play the fiance at the banquet.

I am glad that Gu Hui escaped from clutches of the lunative Ouyang. It was a good thing that she befriended Pan'er. It looked like she was psycho in the beginning, but it was her old nanny doing the despicable acts. Gu Hui is really a nice person.

I remember the scene where GYF told Chen Lian to sell a few of his properties, but after that, I had no idea of the paper trail. I must have wandered away from my TV when Chen Lian put it in the jar, with the note. These characters think the others are mindreaders. LOL

Chi Pan has grown on me. I didn't get the point of his crude, comical behavior in the drama plot. When he became serious in ep 31/32, he really began to look interesting.

I agree with you, on all points. Sanniang is a tomboy. When she knocked Du on the ground after he proposed to her, it was both hilarious and irritating. I was surprised when she told Du she was 30. I thought she was around 35. LOL

She and ChiPan would be perfect as siblings. LOL She should work as an officer with the Capital Security Bureau (... whatever it's called).

I was guessing that the second song was sung by Liu Yuning. I can recognize his voice, after hearing him sing in Autumn Ballad.

Pan'er slapped him by the river after the hurricane, but it looked like a little tap. LOL

Chen Lian is conveyed as the most rational, level headed character throughout the drama. Does he get a promotion at the end?

He went from chump to psycho villain. I watched one of the upcoming trailers with him and Pan'er. I am still unimpressed with him.

I haven't seen the VIP episodes, but I got the feeling that Little Brother was waffling between Good Boy and Bad Boy. LOL (He's kind of cute, too. I could swear that I saw the actor in an earlier drama, but I can't remember which one.) I am glad that he saved the day for Pan'er. He knew what his father was, and summed it up in ep 32, to GQF. Disappointed in the snake father Xiao. Was Duke Xiao fired from the job?

It should have been a double wedding, at least.
