I didn't like Lunatic Princess Li Qin. She was too volatile. Later, I started to watch her other dramas. LOL

I mostly watch the costume dramas. I might watch one or two modern dramas every year. I finished ep 15 today. I can't wait for tomorrow's episodes. LOL

I am waiting for Guan Tao to resign from Yidao Law firm. The rats are out in broad daylight... Chuangli, Han, Gao the videographer, Chuangli's bestfriends.

Old Wan is finally showing why he holds the title of village elder in ep 14. He rallied the villagers together to donate blood for Xingfu.

For a poor village family, the Wangs live in a big house. There must be a half dozen rooms, in addition to the living area, and the kitchen is the size of a bedroom. Why doesn't that Xingyun comb her hair? For a lawyer trainee, wearing a nice black business suit, and having the hair strands hanging over the face, makes her look slovenly.

That rat, Han, is colluding with Chuangli now. What next? Will they hire the wedding videoographer to do the PR for Wangli Company? LOL

I pay $2.99 monthly on the Youku YouTube channel. They will drop Xingfu episodes every day this week (ep 10 to 22) for members. They also have a Youku English You Tube Channel. The schedule might be similar. You can cancel the membership anytime.

Xingfu and Guan Tao are the two best characters in the drama. Xingfu's weakness is that she tends to act before thinking sometimes. The worst characters are Chuanglai and Lawyer Han. The others are mediocre. Officer Li stands out, among the crows. I haven't seen characters vacillate as much as Mr Wang and Mrs Wang Qinglai just follows their lead or Xingfu's. Old Wan likes to browbeat and reward. He burnt his bridges when he denigrated his old ally, Officer Li.

He's a supporting character, a lawyer at the firm that Sister Xingyun works at. So far, he is supportive of Xingyun and Xingfu's family. He becomes the Wang's lawyer, to help with Wang-Wan wars. XD

She was excellent in Mystic Nine, but that drama dragged 60% of the time. Her character was self-assertive. Fo Ye Zhang Qishan (...William Chan) had no idea what hit him. LOL

Once the drama starts to drag, I get restless and irritated as soon as the singer, off screen, starts singing in the middle of the episode. They already sang the same song in the previous episode, or at the beginning or closing credit.

Thanks for the insight. Pan'er kept talking about pariahs, I thought she was still one. I think she should be put in charge of Palace Human Resources, and write the policies. Emperor said it would take several emperors to abolish the pariah rule. He could issue a nationwide mandate. The people would worship him forever. He would have to get rid of the old fogeys in the ministry, though, for it to pass.

I suspected that as well. She has more business and practical sense than Chuang Jia. It would be funny if Wan puts her in charge of his company. That nephew is the biggest jerk. Glad, Old Wan sees through him.

I always struggle at the mid-point of the dramas. Drama inertia sets in when they start dragging the plot.
