They are not ignorant peasants, but always favored the male child. It is obvious that Qingzhi and Little Sister were born some years later. Old Wan also favored his son, Chuanglai, who could get away with bad behavior. Chuangli should have gone to jail, not him.

Guan and the lawyers are so concerned about presentation. The job responsibilites are so lax. He can handle the post during office hours, and pick up the lunches. Xingfu is cleaning up after him. That is why family members should not work in the same office place. That Qin lawyer looks odd.

I think the drama would get negative criticism if XF and QL divorce, and GT and XF end up together. The writer might explain that GT regards XF like a younger sibling.

There are subtle life lessons to learn, the way the drama is presented. They depict the tunnel vision of village and city people, alike. I would normally drop this type of drama, after the first ten minutes of ep 1, but I finished ep 23 and 24 today. 😀😀😀
