The lighting was candlelight during the historical times, Unlike, Song of Glory, where the palaces were constantly lit up like Times Square at night. LOL

Half way mark and the story slowed down to a drag and turned bland. I’m glad they didn’t overly dumb down…
It is painful to watch the third couple. Granted, Fang Zhouying is a young man in love for the first time, but his puppy love acting is OTP. Zeiliu, on the other hand, is UTP (Under The Top). I guess they balance each other out. I want to see Duo Lou and Zhouying face off. There is a reason why they met, and had instant recognition. Perhaps, Zhouying is a Lost Prince. LOL

I think they are twins, separated by fate or design. Obviously, the evil twin realizes it, and wants the other one dead. It looks like they were related to the tribal ruler. This might make Zhouying, the Prodigal Prince?
