Loved it! Wang Kai and Wang Olivia were sooo good. The biggest problem I had was that the ending felt weirdly…
I was curious why there were 21 episodes, not 20 or 22. The final episode is 50/50; crime solved/team members' personal lives. There is a gap (time jump) that would have explained Ji Bai's recovery and diagnosis.
On The Princess Wei Young Dec 14, 2016
The trailer of Princess Weiyoung is an excellent mini-production, that is packed with some of the most beautiful scenes in the entire drama, to lure the viewers. The trailer contents are moving faster than the series. Although the drama ended in China, it takes Drama Fever a while to sub the episodes. Hopefully, my drama odyssey will be over by Christmas Day.

Title The K2
it's all about an evil step mother
I am with you. The drama should have been named Evil Stepmother or Choi Yoo Jin.
anopinion Dec 1, 2016
Hi, anopinion! I loved reading your very eloquent, well-written and well-constructed review. Every sentiment or criticism that you expressed, was the very same conclusion that I came to, over the span of the drama. I think that the writer fabricated a superficial, diluted story to fill the time slot and length of the drama, and no one really took the time to critique the scripts, ahead of the preproduction phase. A fantasy historical drama really means a modern historical drama, which is nonsensical. The casting director and the costume designer did a very good job, but the director, writer and editor were in the "Cloud". Every time that the actor was six inches away from the camera lens and staring at, or speaking to the camera, I felt that he or she was in my living room again.

Review The K2
Your breakdown of K2, was precisely my take on this drama. I had no sympathy for Choi Yoo Jin because she echoed some close encounters with her 'relatives' in the workplace. On the other hand, Song Yoon Ah's acting was outstanding. This became the Choi Yoo Jin show, and K2 and the other main characters became her satellites.

Title The K2
Every time Yoo Jin is on the screen I want to smash my TV screen. The moment Je Ha told her how it is I literally…
I agree with you. Yo Jin is everyone's worst nightmare of a boss or subordinate, and God forbid, a family member. I anticipate a crack in Mirror during Yoo Jin's rapid meltdown.

A refreshing light short romantic comedy to chill out, from the recent intense dramas. The leads, Suk Jin and So Min, are perfectly cast as the rich arrogant hotel owner and poor no-nonsense teacher.

Also I'm starting to ship Ba Ye and Zhang Fu Guan. Please don't tell me I'm the only one? Their banter is great.
Ba Ye and Lt Zhang were the best bromance couple. I found a few funny videos of the two characters on bilibili.com.

Is this a good drama? Also is there a lot of romance?:)
I also agree with wavy3. There are some extraneous scenes and plotlines, especially with the four irritating villains and some of the tomb scenes. The incentives to watch this drama, are the CHF4(=charming, handsome, fantastic), William, YiXing, HaoMing, MingEn, and the pretty Miss Liying, who did very good acting jobs.
On Zhang Ming En Oct 27, 2016
Person Zhang Ming En
Zhang Ming En was the sleeper actor of Mystic Nine. Lt Zhang was resourceful as Fo Ye's subordinate, and demonstrated impressive skills with weapons and physical strength.
