also it showed that Dong Joo hided the backpack in some locker or smth but then someone stole it from his house...…
It wasn't Dong Joo who hide the back in the locker, I think it was the perpetrator's younger self. That scene was a memory and at the end of the memory the person who hide the bag had the same scar as the perpetrator. Dong Joo had the bag but then the perpetrator broke into his house and took it.
This is a very beautifully directed drama. Very nice editing and flow, visual art design and background music,…
I agree, their relationship in the beginning felt more like siblings so the lead's romantic feeling doesn't feel natural. They should have created a more vital premise to accommodate FL's actions towards ML. I think if ML's love towards the past FL was one-sided and then the current FL slowly developed feeling for ML would do more justice to the relationship. Then again I haven't read the webtoon...😂. I'm really enjoying the drama though!
I think in Lee Yeon's case it's kind of like that thing of "I did you wrong so I am allowing you to hate me but…
Right! It's so nice to see that he is putting an effort into reconciling with his brother and wanting a better life for him. It's sad to see that he only learnt his lesson once Rang had met his death. Rang's life was nothing but suffering and the fact that he never was able to find peace is really heartbreaking. All he wanted was his brother's love and support. It shows that Yeon took Rang's sincerity and LIFE for granted. I too hope 1938 Yeon gets a wake-up call because his character is one pathetic character. It's a pitiful site really. Rang is a character that deserves all the love and happiness in this world, so I too hope that he finds solace in this timeline. BTW, it was a pleasure reading your comments. It's really nice to see this sort of engagement and passion.
I think in Lee Yeon's case it's kind of like that thing of "I did you wrong so I am allowing you to hate me but…
I agree with your sentiments. He's definitely a character who lacks a sense of taking responsibility for his action. He is a with Good intuition but lacks empathy and common sense. He is a character that you would fall for in his charisma but end up being abandoned because of his twisted sense of justice. To be honest I didn't really watch S1 that well so my comment was more towards their current relationship in S2, pardon my lack of knowledge😅.
The antagonist is doing the right thing. LOL. I think I like that Lee Rang will have some dilemma. Not everything…
It makes their relationship more dynamic like the tides and trials of siblings. The weakening and the uncertainty arise insecurities. Unveiling character development and the strengthening of their sibling bond. This is probably one of my favourite sibling storylines in kdramas. It's raw and pure. Such a pleasure to be a part of their journey.
Lee Rang is still young at heart. He loves his brother so much. Even in Season 1, he hated and loved his brother…
I think in Lee Yeon's case it's kind of like that thing of "I did you wrong so I am allowing you to hate me but i won't explain myself because I'd rather be misunderstood and it pointless" but by time he decided to clear the misunderstandings and reconcile it was too late as Lee Rang died young. The Brothers storyline is a really sad story but heartwarming it has some realistic compliments like" life is too short" or "reconcile before it too late". I really like the dynamic between the brother. As a person with sibling their story really touched my heart. Lee Yeon seems to be misunderstood very often but the man lacks the ability to explain himself. But at the same time it understandable because it's not like they would believe him.
Am I crazy to say that the best plot line here is YuJong's marriage? I started losing interest in BoRa's relationships…
For real though, the side couples stole the story. I wish they had more screen time. Bora's relationship just become tedious. Maybe if they extend the episodes, the I would be a little more open with this progression but... its not doing it for me.
