For real though, the side couples stole the story. I wish they had more screen time. Bora's relationship just become tedious. Maybe if they extend the episodes, the I would be a little more open with this progression but... its not doing it for me.

They really have great chemistry! Its a pity that their not lovers but the show is doing great without the romance.

Why the last-minute love triangle?! but that gives the show more potential for a second season( not going to happen thou). The show has too many subplots for 14eps which might lead to an unsatisfactory finish. I'm enjoying it thou.

To be honest i didn't like the original either. I ended up dropping it and picking it up twice and never got around to finishing it. The chemistry between the leads and the stories inconsistency through me off. But i must say that the second season is twice as better. The interaction between the leads is a lot more natural, the story is more consistent (usually scripts that have a lot of subplots tend to have lot of inconsistency and the premise sort of gets lots but here they did a really good job). The cinematography and the ost make it such a pleasant watch. I hope that one day you decide to have a look at it. Anyway i wish you happy watching with 'The Good Bad Mother'! I have so much on my watch list and so I'm contemplating whether I should watch this show or wait for 'Hidden Love'. I'm such a huge fan of Zhao Lu Si and I've been wanting to watch her new show and 'Hidden Love' might only release in July 😫 such a complication.
