Review Nine Puzzles
I would have disagreed with your review before the last 2 episodes, but now I think you are right lol.
Lol that's fair. Honestly once the drama spoiled who the killer is, it's over for me.

He didn't get 456 billion, the baby did, and beacuse he is a trustworthy character the baby was left in his care.…
Seriously? the baby can not hold any asset, so the money was given under his name as shown by the Gold Card. It wasn't even under Trust. That money is as good as his and he could just abandon the baby at an orphanage if he choose to do so.
Lily Alice Jul 6, 2025
No you shouldn't, You should just spend two seasons finding the island, then still being useless once you found it outside of just yelling "Why" to your psychopath brother.

Oh don't forget ending up with 456 billion Won for doing absolutely nothing but just because you're related to the death game host.

And yes, the baby got the win. But the account was under his name and not even a Trust, as shown by his name on the gold card. So he can just drop off the baby at an orphanage and keep the cash.

How did the minions doctor know the blood types in the first place, how was she giving birth at only 4 months pregnant, first birth finished in 5 minutes and she's up and walking after that?

Title Squid Game Season 3 Spoiler
The best solution was for him to slit their competitors' throat while they're sleeping to save the baby. S3 spent…
Right???? he couldn't forgive that guy who actually was scared of out of his life yet he said no to someone that has been a complete asshole throughout the entire season 2 and 3 and openly threatening the baby. Absolutely lazy writing.

people coping out here by saying anyone who didn't like the ending didn't understand it šŸ˜‚ lmao no, this was…
This. S3 was pandering the to stupidest common denominators so tasteless people can give it a 9.5 for music when there's barely any.

456 died of his own doings and prepared death of many. The LUNCH BOX was the best solution out there, but mf wants…
The best solution was for him to slit their competitors' throat while they're sleeping to save the baby. S3 spent the first 2 episodes showing you that 456 was actually the killer that he is but now to save the baby he's suddenly "not that guy".

He can kill himself after if he feels that guilty about it but there's no need to put the baby in a danger. Guy is so stupid.

Nothing more comical to me than moving Squid Game to America. Doesn't America already have their own real life Squid Games? they just called it Police Brutality or School Shooting.

Nothing like moving an anti-capitalism series to the most capitalist country in the world.

The irony is also the fact that America already has their own homegrown Death Game series they can turn into a great TV shows if they wanted to, SAW. But of course they had to "take over" another country's successful series instead while being absolutely tone deaf about it.

nice work chatgpt! you still didn't get the point of the series.
Oh I know exactly what the point of season 3 is. It's pandering to the dumbest common denominators so brainless and tasteless people can give its music a 9.5 when there's barely any. And looking at your rating, they clearly succeeded.

Imagine being such a brain-rot of kdrama that when given a chance to save yourself and the baby, you didn't take it because "it's not who you are" when you just spent the first 2 episodes showing the audience that you are in fact exactly that. A stonecold killer.

Absolute garbage and trainwreck of writing. And Netflix, hire a better white people, because those clowns in the VIP room, trash acting, trash dialogue cringefest. Gi-hun died, the baby won (which btw, how did Jo Yu-ri's character gave birth to a healthy no premature baby when previously she was only 4 months pregnant?). Frontman escaped, all the goons escaped, nothing change, nothing matters. There, I just told you the ending. I sacrificed a few IQ points watching this so you don't have to.

This isn’t just a bad season. It’s a creative betrayal. A franchise that once held a mirror to society has now turned that mirror into a selfie camera—preloaded with filters, sponsored hashtags, and an empty caption that just says ā€œresistance is marketable.ā€ It’s the storytelling equivalent of desecrating a gravestone, then monetizing the footage.

Garbage tier kdrama that just pandered to the to the absolute stupidest common denominator. Season 3 didn’t just drop the ball—it set the whole playground on fire and sold tickets to the blaze.

I'm increasingly hating Netflix series. I'm 100% sure this series should have at least 12 to 14 episodes. They're…
Not even a Netflix drama, they just licensed it. Try again.

Louis in Shopping King Louis also works for me in that regard. I was planning on watching this tbh but after reading…
I never heard of this actually, but the Viki summary made it sounds like a fun watch. I'll check it out, thanks.

I never vibe with Go Min-si's acting at all, and Kang Ha-neul just don't have the charisma it needs to convince me of playing a chaebol heir with his stupid overreactions. Maybe I'm spoiled with the cookie-cutter heir, but I'm used to them being cold, precise, cool, monotone, instead of cartoonish. Ive been fed a steady diet of chaebol archetypes that work because they walk a tightrope: aloof but magnetic, icy but mysterious, emotionally constipated but somehow devastatingly hot. It’s like they’re all doing a high-fashion photoshoot inside a glass tower of trauma. None of these fit the ML character at all.

The only time overreacting heir worked for me was when Lee Jun-ho plays it in King the Land. He went cartoonish, but balanced it with smolder, control, and that precise chaebol body language

Romcoms live and die by chemistry and rhythm. I can’t feel the heat or the friction from the leads, the banters feels off, the humour's flat, the side characters are annoying, and the drama seriously miscasted for me. I can tolerate bad script, but the drama needs to at least give me something - anything, to like.

Dropped at episode 2.
