Dubbed, unfortunately. Also, I think it's an overlap of internal dialogue and external speaking, but they don't distinguish between the two well, so it's *highly* confusing. :/
So...does anyone know: Is iQiyi going to make the two Final eps available to regular VIP members next weekend? Or will they forever be locked behind the Premium capitalist paywall?
(And if the latter, does anyone want to go with me on an old-fashioned, pitchforks-and-torches, angry mobbing to discourage this sort of behavior from them in the future?)
I think it's better to watch every other week, and to watch both of the paired eps together. It's definitely not amazing, but I don't think it's as awful as some of the comments are making it out to be. The two leads in this are decent actors, even if the side characters are...not, and the logic doesn't make sense, but [shrugs in drama fan] I kind of accept an extra level of suspension of disbelief for Thai dramas in general.
I believe the lowest ranked Thai BL is "Check Out".
As πit πshould π be. π At least Unforgotten Night was campy-horrible. It mostly knew what it was and was oddly entertaining, like a train wreck you can't look away from. Or a middle-school drama production. Check Out tried to take itself seriously, but was about as entertaining as watching black paint dry at night. I'm still not sure how *nothing at all* happened...like I remember nothing from Check Out except a sense of growing outrage and the faint flavor of "bland" at the edge of my memory. Like what I imagine white paper to taste like.
the show is called hidden agenda but there's a confession in ep 5 girl what are we gonna do for the rest of the…
If there's one thing dramas have taught us, it's that there's no shortage of potential drama monsters or tropes that can jump out of the plot jungle unexpectedly...from nowhere...with zero build up or warning. π
I don't understand some of the criticism here, I think this show is super fun. punn is such an unserious, lovable…
YES! Totally agree. This isn't meant to be a masterpiece of the genreβit knows that, and accordingly doesn't take itself too seriously (so far). It is fun and sweet with the potential for more of the same. It's campy, yes, but also makes one want to know what's going to happen next, making one care about the main characters (some of the side characters could disappear and I wouldn't be sad). I'm also enjoying it!! :)
