Lol, nope, no major character development for the main man, not really. (Per my comment, about 5 down.) I agree: the ML needs a major attitude adjustment. By the end, he's nicer to the FL, but he never really apologizes or makes up for his awfulness through most of it, unfortunately.

Ah, a pity! I'm not a huge fan of her voice, but overall I love Zhao Lusi and her acting, especially in comedic dramas. Love Like the Galaxy is tied for my top favorite C-drama of all time (with A Dream of Splendor). But to each their own! ☺️

It takes a while, but it's worth it! (idrc which ep exactly, apologies) If it helps: She doesn't really like the young SML, but only sees him as a path to personal freedom, and she gets over him quickly after they get separated. The older SML is never someone she seriously considers as an option (see my rant, 2 comments up), and he's a pretentious dandy. The slow burn pays off. But overall,the drama is slice of life, with romance as a part of it, rather than every ep being about the romance. I personally love this, though...the romance being part of a wider, interconnected story. :)
