I love love love this drama. It was the drama that made me come back to kisskh so I can put it up once and for all as one satisfyingly shiptastic romcom. I wish there were more BTS, honestly.
the acting felt honest and true. the show is lean and mostly without fillers. the villain is suitably annoying and receives a satisfying smack down. thank you original writer for outdoing your own self!
you know what, i'm watching this drama for the flashbacks showing Ha Jae Sook. I really miss that actress. She was in my favorite Alone in Love. And there was even an episode in Protect the Boss that Wang Ji Hye's and Ha Jae Sook's characters bonded over 2NE1's I Am the Best. (oh my, the non-crucial things I remember in kdramas....)
Anyhow, I hope we get more of Ha Jae Sook.
Joo Sang Wook is quite funny as the fraudster. Episode 2 gives us clues that this will be better than what the synopsis suggests, I think. I hope.
first episode is almost scene-for-scene, even shot-for-shot, but without the slapstick of the japanese version.…
you are right. after rewatching episode 1 and 11 of the live-action J version, I've decided to just let this K version stand for itself. I will not compare with the other versions. I will just enjoy it. ^^
oh gosh, this article! Thank you so much for making the effort to write this up. QIHM is such a special drama to me because in my eyes it is perfect, and to hear someone else praise it kinda enhances my enjoyment of it. thank you!
NB was good too. Even if it is essentially the same people, the half showing the older couple really got me. When romantic love stands and strengthen through time, it transforms into something else closer to unconditional love. To me, this unconditional love is more "romantic". I wish we'd see more dramas with this.

ah, i wiki'ed TLBD but i'll check out youtube once I get wifi. sounds entertaining.
yeah, makino is inspirational and super-different from the other adaptations so it was offputting to watch Boys Before Flowers. Anyway, have you seen everything including the movie?

ahh! makino was really the reason I stuck with HYD. Inoue Mao's portrayal of the character is really top-notch, especially contrasted with the many adaptations around. she wasn't a doormat and made us root for her. *sighs*
where do you watch the Lizzie Bennet diaries?
and that Ji-yong GIF. kiyopta~~~!

2 states north kami of California. Mga 24-hrs drive daw, pero di pa ako nakapuntang California ever. LOL. Next time year sana sa San Francisco.
