After rewatching, I can say that the little flaws in our everyday life is heightened in this drama. We can be selfish, inconsiderate, immature and sometimes annoying when dealing with the people we love.
People found Yoo Jin crying after seeing Min Jae's leg weird and too soon, I did too. But then I realised that Yoo Jin is kinda immature (we can see this in her complaint about why he got sick when crying), and in many other cases in the drama. She's also quite sensitive. I feel like the way she cried too also had that immature vibe which was why it felt a little cringe.
Many people are like that too. I, for example, sometimes get the urge to give the world to someone I just met just because they were kind or understood me. It's just something that happens in that moment we are overwhelmed with emotion.
The only reason people are sensitive is because we usually don't have the main characters in dramas exhibiting these traits.
In this drama both main leads have flaws we normally attribute to second leads. The supporting characters also have them. These are flaws we are not comfortable seeing on screen, we don't like them, but they are what makes them and we, the viewers humans.

I didn't watch those dramas, but they aren't in the life genre, so it's understandable that you feel the way you do. But you need to understand that this has life tag, so things aren't going to go as you may like. Like I said earlier, if you feel like it isn't your thing, you can drop it. No one is forcing you. People are arguing and I'm about to rewatch episode 3 and 4. Don't know why some people think there's going to be a love triangle when the Maths professor is a support role. Min Jae kissed her back, Min Jae tried to make her jealous after he realised how Yoo Jin was reacting after hearing he was with another woman. Min Jae kissed her back again in the 4th episode. Yoo Jin kinda manipulated Min Jae knowing he wouldn't be able to resist her. If you think their love story is just going to go smoothly, then go look for romcom. This is slice of life. The two of them are both sick in the head somehow with their pettiness and stubbornness. I think this is Kim sohyun's best chemistry with a male lead. I'm still loving this drama. I'll let them break my heart into pieces.
Episode 3 made me cry. This is a case of nonchalant guy meets sensitive girl. Yoo Jin was at fault the first time, but the second argument is on Min Jae, he could have just said no. Yoo Jin is matured with other people but when it comes to Min Jae, she's like a little child. It's like the universe decided to add another problem to Min Jae's mountain of problems. 😂 She's annoying for sure, but in a cute way. This drama is beautiful and is art itself. Why did she run after she confirmed his disability? That will only make him close up more. They aren't dating yet and they are already fighting this much? Can we call their relationship toxic?
Yu Jin is really something. 😂 I'm sorry, but I laughed when she started crying on the bus after Min Jae got angry. Another funny scene was Min Jae's team member imitating a robot voice. Yu Jin is the crazy Min Jae needs in his boring life. Their chemistry is endearing and at the same time hot. I really can't wait to watch more episodes.
