Is any good costume drama airing rn? None from my wishlist is coming out, so wanted few suggestions..

I feel it was not just about love due to which Wenjun ran away with YDZ even when she was one of the favourite consort, it was also about freedom & free will. She was never given any choice, so when destiny presented her with a choice, she chose to follow her heart for once, ignoring the consequences, I definitely don't hate her for that.

DY or TBOY, most hateful characters are emperors himself. It's been mentioned by Sikong Changfeng that Xiao Se's father is a good emperor. But how come a person who doesn't care about the feelings of the woman he likes, keeps her locked & gives no care to her sadness is a good emperor? I think all he wanted was support of Shadow Sect. Lord Langya was a righteous person but not a saint. Ofcourse he won't sacrifice the support of Shadow Sect & bring embarrassment to his beloved brother for sake of Ye Dingzi & Wenjun. But I wish someone was there to guide Ye Dingzi, he lost his family, his honour, his master, his love, & couldn't meet the only friends he had. Beili empire brought the tragedy upon themselves. Ye Dingzi is not a pathetic man who will do nothing, ofcourse he would take action. Only regret is nobody was there to give him right direction. Only solace is atleast he spent few years in peace with his small family.

I am excited for this one, and I do hope that people watch this with a fresh mind & forget about their disappointment with red moon pact.

I really really hope our Wuxin will live a happy life in season 2, with a long family history of unjust miserable endings, my poor heart won't be able to handle anthing else.

Yupp, even before watching new episodes I come here to check if rating increased.

yupp..there are some c-dramas on Netflix from which TBOY is definity way better.

You don't need to rewatch to understand, but I am rewatching it again while watching DY, its kind of satisfying to connect things.

If you have watched TBOY you would know how sad Baili Dongjun was despite of his laid back demeanour. In his later years all he wanted was to forget the past. So I am very happy to know that he was carefree & happy in his youth

Exactly bro...what kind of jumbling mumbling was happening, we who don't know chinese already miss out bcz we give 50% attention to subs & then we have to understand the jumbled mess. I did undestand what was going on & crux of conversations but I hope this doesn't happen in future episodes.

I am kinda disappointed with the rating, like I get it there many better wuxias in cdramaland including TBOY & MLC, but this one deserves atleast a 8.4 or 8.5

Only solace I have is even in TBOY none of the main characters spoke ill of Ye Dingzi. Maybe losing love of his life to emperor after going through so much injustice since childhood due to previous emperor, away from his friends & misdirection from greedy people finally broke him. I am not sure, but I remember something like that Ye Dingzi killed himself because he himself was upset with his choices. I am watching this series with just one mantra.."Journey surpasses the outcome", I really hope these people have a good time together in their young years.

I am waiting for the scene when Baili Dongjun met Wuxin, completely forgot what about it
