It actually appeared on my YouTube feed a few days ago, unless they've done a 3rd drama together that's a similar storyline again! It was an ok watch, why is Cao Tian Kai playing such horrible men recently? It makes me appreciate the roles he has where he's not a complete (insert expletive) even more!

You're absolutely right! The lack of this synopsis & the same cast listed confused me I'm afraid. I've deleted my review from the comments section & posted it to the correct drama. Thanks for the info, I'll check back here at a later date in case a link for this drama reappears. I like both Cao Tian Kai & Han Yu Tong, I am now intrigued by what the plot of this drama may be!

I enjoyed this, its basically a straight up revenge story. Han Yu Tong is beautiful as the "new, sugically improved" version of herself & is able to inject vulnerability & humour into her character without becoming a parody. The addition of Sun Yi Xun as her former "frenemy" turned fiancé supporting her to take revenge is nice & helps keep her from slipping into self-loathing. She basically manages to insert herself into the ex-family's new life & stirs things up while gently fraying at the edges of their relationships.
Cao Tian Kai (I might shallowly have a crush on him & those abs!) is pretty loathsome through the whole drama, full of self-confidence & schemes, ultimately placing his own interests above all the women around him. The bestie & sister are awful, as they get dealt with, it exposes more of his true nature.
The actress (I don't know her name) who plays the "original" version of the wife is good & you're fully supporting her all the way. I've seen her play this type of character in a few other dramas but she manages to bring something a little different to each role so they all feel like "real" people & not just the archetype of a supposedly undesirable woman.
If you're into a full on, heavy kind of revenge this might not be enough for you, I'd say this is a light revenge story with a touch of comedy & a suggestion of romance.
*Stand-out scene for me was "Show me your most powerful guy" & starts at 19min12sec, that's the self-confidence I'm talking about!

I preferred this one too. He does look good without a shirt but looks great in that blue shirt as well! I must admit to thinking his MDL profile picture is one of the very few on here where the actor looks better than in his dramas!

"Stunning The '80s"
The first 20+(?) or so episodes are free to watch, then you have to buy or earn coins to unlock the rest. Earned by daily login, watching episodes, watching ads etc. If you're willing to put the time in to earn the "free" coins it takes about 2-3 days to watch a complete drama depending on the number of episodes it's been cut into. Quite often the first free episodes are condensed & on their YouTube channel.

A nice easy watch, with quite a few plot tropes going on: temporary amnesia, hidden identities, flash marriage, white moonlight, green tea, infidelity, family disapproval, corporate espionage etc, I won't add anymore as you can probably guess the rest of them! None of these are really explored too deeply, so it doesn’t get bogged down with lots of detail but it doesn’t feel as if the whole script has been recycled which is always nice.
I like both Duan Mei Yang & Zuo Yi as actors, here they seemed very comfortable in their roles & with each other, They were quite sweet together & I could definitely see them in a "Friends to Lovers" drama. Some nice kisses if you're looking for a bit of romance & a few funny scenes as well.
The "Emperor's Beloved Concubine" cosplay scene at 2hr12mins was undoubtedly the standout of the drama, the Concubine looks great in red & totally rocked that outfit!

Here's his version of "The Prince Is Too Wild", I think it's the 6th version I've seen of this storyline. A few variations but the main plot points are still mostly there. Obligatory abs & steaminess included (you do have to wait a while for them to heat up but you know how this story goes by now!)

Thanks as always for the extra links & also the FL name. I've seen her in a few others recently but didn't know who she was & it was bugging me! And as we devoted watchers of Vertically Filmed dramas know, that extra 2 minutes could mean the difference between life, death, rebirth, happiness, despair, total destruction (you get the point!) for any characters we've been been watching over the last few hours. That's one of the reasons I really appreciate you posting so many links for the same show, some YouTube channels subs are better than others & sometimes those few extra minutes (or seconds) can change the whole storyline!

Another version of the "fake heiress is kicked out by the rich family after finding they had the wrong girl, her engagement is stolen by the real daughter & she's then accused online of being her childhood sweetheart ex-fiance's mistress, has a one-night stand with her male high school bestie who secretly loves her, they have a flash marriage & end up on a couples love reality show to clean up her now tarnished image" storyline!

I've watched at least 5 versions of this (I think Intoxicating Kiss was the first I saw), they've all made changes to the storyline but the main plot points are the same. The FL & ML chemistry is what makes some versions better than the others & the friends to lovers trope believable. I thought the chemistry between Wang Nan & Wang Xiao Yi (not on MDL yet, I think that's another actress with the same name already on here) was pretty good, especially in the red dress dance scene! She's beautiful & very graceful throughout, I guess she has a background in dance as she seems have performed those scenes herself unlike in some of the other versions.

I enjoyed this, the acting was good, nice chemistry & there's some lovely on-location scenery . My main criticisms would be around the reality show. I've seen it done better in other versions where it helped push finding the FL's real family along more naturally, the late addition of her brother without a partner to a couples show in this felt a bit forced. And if you're interested, while the sticker scene was good here, it's definitely hotter in some of the other versions!

I quite enjoyed this, Wang Ge Ge is always great, she showed a nice emotional range here & I thought she was super cute in some scenes (having an outfit change for the sudden proposal!). Xu Kai Xin was good after his aloof character warmed up a bit.
I'm looking for this on another YouTube channel as it felt like there were scenes missing or at least shortened? (The shower scene, was there really only a chin kiss for that reaction?) I'm thinking parts must be missing or maybe it's an editing after production thing that made the storyline oddly paced, I feel like I missed a chunk of their relationship developing.

I enjoyed this, the version I saw combined Part 2 (which made me cry) followed by Part 1. I particularly loved the "hiccup handhold under the table" scene stolen straight from Something In The Rain with Jung Hae In!

Loving your actors & actresses lists, often their head shots/profile pictures look quite different to the drama stills/posters which can make it hard to find them!

There are a number of YouTube channels with it & it has Wang Yi Ran & Lan Lan as the leads, I can't see it listed for either of them yet? If you're into a good kiss scene (who isn't?!) this definitely delivers throughout!
