No Tale to Tell Indeed
This drama turned out to be a huge disappointment. I was initially excited to start this drama. Fantasy romance is my absolute favorite drama genre. I thought the first 4 episodes were the strongest. They set the story up nicely and I thought we were going to get a descent story. Unfortunately, after the 4th episode, this drama just faded into a nothing burger. Nothing interesting really happened. There wasn't much growth in the characters. The shaman plot was so ridiculous and unnecessary. The other villain was annoying at best. I honestly should've dropped this around episode 7 or 8 but I felt if I made it that far, I might as well finish the last few episodes. Save your time on this one, there are much better dramas to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Gangnam BORING!
This was one of the most boring dramas I've ever watched mostly due to the fact that this romance was like watching paint dry. The FL had absolutely no personality and the ML was stiff af. By the time I realized that the FL was never going to develop beyond that one tortured expression that she kept making, I was too far in to drop. Also Sua, who was supposed to be this great beauty, was one of the most basic looking girls on the show. Ugh, I really did not enjoy this drama and found myself skipping chunks so I could just be done with it.Was this review helpful to you?
Record of Absolutely Nothing
I was really excited to start watching this drama and the beginning didn't disappoint. Right off, I could tell that this was different. There was no unnecessary drama. No ridiculous misunderstandings to keep the two leads apart just for the sake of it. No mysterious past connection that either one can't remember. This might be one of the most realistic relationships I've seen in a kdrama so far. Just two people who meet, start to like each other, let each other know and start dating and fall in love. It was so sweet. Annnnnd that's pretty much it. I can't remember exactly what episode it was, I think the episode that ended with them dancing in the rain. I feel like it should've ended there because everything after that was just so blah. Nothing really happened. Hye Jun became famous but that was to be expected. I feel like this drama was full of nothing. Relationships that didn't really lead anywhere, friendships that didn't really change. I gave it a 6.5 because overall this wasn't a bad drama, it was just a nothing drama with really good acting.Was this review helpful to you?
Impressively Bad
You ever watch a drama so bad that you end up mad and want your time back? Well if you haven't look no further than this one. The storyline is not only bad, it's not even interesting. The FL's acting is incredibly cringy and that wig is a complete eyesore. 6 episodes into a 12 episode drama and there's not a sign of romance in sight. I stuck it out for 6 episodes hoping it would get better because I love drama's where the leads are older but this one is complete garbage. Delightful!
I enjoyed this drama so much. I actually liked it better than Hospital Playlist. I loved all of the characters and their quirky personalities. The thing that stood out the most to me was how much the characters grew over the course of the 12 episodes. It felt like this drama was longer than it was and I mean that in a good way. Very rarely do I want a season 2 of a drama but I would love another season of these 4.Was this review helpful to you?
