I havent started it yet...but Id like to know who falls or seems to fall in love first? The girl or the guy?
For some reason I get a feeling that they are not really blood-related at all. Did I miss something or what? They're respective partners at the moment just does not fit them at all. XD
Seung Hyun is completely delusional. Na Aa Ra hasn't once given him the time of day; however, knowing how he feels…
Well I'm not in a position to disagree because I'd also would like to see a drama without those annoying second leads but what I was saying was I don't mind that they're there. Emergency couple was not an exception doc, you even talked to me about it. XD Although I would agree that the 2nd leads there were as passive as they can be.

Yes, I get your point about the story being explored in possibly a different approach. The thing is, as much as your opinion is valuable, it's not the opinion of the majority. These shows were formatted to rake in ratings. Apparently, conflicts arising from a secondary love interest or rival worked, works and is still working for the masses. I'm not saying you're wrong, but at the end of the day, we still have people talking how they hate the other character sticking to the leads, how they plot all these absurd ideas and do all sorts of evil. I know I would've reacted the same as you if it were a novel, but somehow, having these dynamics or variations in emotions as you watch the show makes it more entertaining for me to appreciate the actual good parts in the drama.

I think you're having a misconception about 2nd leads in asian dramas. They're there to tug some emotions into place for the leads. They are not there to be the complete anti-hero or antagonist, whatever you call it (well, in cases of rom-coms they are mostly not). Please bear in mind that we're watching dramas aimed at their own culture. What might be applicable or acceptable to your country may not be what they perceive it. It helps to not really be over critical about watching and just enjoy the drama. That is our purpose right? Entertainment. Else, I don't see the point of sticking through until the end if you're not happy with it.

Really? Could you name a few dramas? I might want to look them up since I have yet to watch a romance drama without annoying second leads. Seriously, I'm curious.

It's not like she wasn't clear about her position about it. Yes, I agree to some extent in creating boundaries between them, but it is not like she didn't try to avoid it. We had the scene when she hugged SH back, but that was out of pity. It's practically the same with JW, he admitted he knew about it but he did nothing about it. I think he's far worse than AR on that matter since he did not make things clear between him and YJ at least before the last 2 episodes. And let's face it, there wouldn't be anything to talk about, much less watch in this drama if they'd just back off and went on with their business.

I disagree, rejecting someone doesn't really have to end up breaking the friendship as well. SH was doing it all by himself, AR never really sent romantic feelings towards him. It's the same with YJ, JW never sent signals but she did it all to herself as well, all the while both the main leads knew that both the second leads have feelings for them, JW even admitted that part.
I really like this drama but now I'm at the point of getting bored of it.. I watched 80 eps so far and I often…
I've watched extremely long kdramas as well, so far the drag here is not as boring as Smile Donghae, I think it helps that I watch the show everyday instead of watching it on a marathon. My opinion might change if that were the case. Hahahahahaha. Though lately the development is really nice.

Well long airing dramas are not everyone's cup of tea. I expected things to get dragged, A LOT. Currently, I'm just happy to have something to watch for the weekdays. LOL
Is it only me?! Well the main lead is cute and all but i can not ship him and Ae Ra. 1. He only knows himself!…
Let's look at this in this perspective: they purposely took turns to show their development as a person before becoming a couple so that they fit in all 16 episodes which is kinda long for this sort of shallow plot. XD
EDIT: Just checked. It aired. :)
