Good, but…
The positive point is that the show is marketed as a horror series, and that’s exactly what we get: real, fairly gory scenes, ghosts, etc. The plot holds up, and the actors are convincing.
However, the series has two flaws. The first is the romance, which is far too excessive and completely off-tone. We have a love story between a cop and the main witness in a series of murders, so you’d expect passion. Instead, we get long, formulaic, syrupy dialogues about love. It feels out of place.
The second flaw is the ending (i.e., the last two episodes), which is clearly rushed and full of inconsistencies. It’s strange that the writers weren’t able to maintain the same level of quality all the way through.
In the end, it’s a series worth watching, but it’s far from unforgettable.
