Yeah I'm really enjoying their chemistry too and the sincerity of Jiang Chi. Ep6 was quite the hanger I agree, ugh I usually like angst but in this case I'm like NOOOOO be happy! lol

BL isn't realistic to begin with and that argument can be applied to anything. Its not realism I care about, its entertainment value. Personal preferences. But whatever, I hate the main couple with a burning passion anyways, my boyfriend is making me watch this with him lol.

I don't understand straight ships in BL, they have enough rep as it is, stop taking away from our BL with straight filler. I was hoping for a side GAY couple, since I don't care for the main guys, oh well more wasted time on straight romance which is literally in everything else already. If I wanted straight romance I wouldn't watch BOYS love. Sorry, ugh, I just don't get it.

I can deal with the fake age gap between the main actors but not the very real and obvious age gap between Asuka and Mr. Predator that seems to like high school boys, creep. The younger the young guy is, the less of an age gap I'll tolerate. 30 and 40 is okay, 10 and 20 is NOT. To each their own, this isn't for me. I tried to give it a chance, main guys are fine, but I can't continue this. Ephebophila is not my bag. I don't knock the actors or viewers of this show, I just have personal preferences and this show doesn't fit that for me.

I have an issue with sex tourists, they should be imprisoned for life. As for legal age gaps, they just aren't my thing.

I don't like any focus on boring straight bs in BL, its supposed to only be about the boys. And they made the cutest guy straight, UGH!

What I'm saying is you, who hates BL is willing to watch a story based on BL that's be bastardized in its adaptation. I don't care about the majority, the majority don't need representation because they get it by default. I'm gay so I don't watch lesbian romance and I can only guess the reason its not that prevalent is because romance in general is primarily watched by straight girls and gay men, both of which prefer men typically. And lets be honest, its easier to write a likable male character. Its whatever, SK BL sucks usually anyways since the that country is still 40 years behind the civilized world in terms of gay rights.

Well the ending kinda sucked, a shame.

I liked it, would have liked it better if Gun got with a guy though.

I personally disagree, office jobs are more boring than watching paint dry. At least in school settings you get the benefit of peers (age ranges aren't extremely varied), youth and being in a more social environment with less restrictions.

I prefer twinks / skinny short guys that are cute. I'm not into manly muscled rugged or "straight" looking guys but I don't think the dude is ugly. He's just not my type. Both guys gotta be my type in a BL or I just don't get into it. Shallow, yes, superficial, mmhmm. I wouldn't have my entertainment any other way. I like what I like lol. Also I'm more irked by the age gap BUT this series is marked age gap (love that they do that now) so no harm no foul.

Its not about legality, its about dynamics, maturity levels, aesthetics, personal preference and optics. I mean at least with me, I don't think that the age gap is objectively wrong or immoral, I just personally don't like it because it doesn't appeal to me for the reasons I mentioned.

I do, I hate age gaps over 5+ in my entertainment. I'm more tolerant IRL, but not when it comes to fiction that I can be more picky about.

I think the twink look looks better myself, too many muscles and the guy starts to look like a jock.

Over fluffy, directionless. Just a bunch of over-sweet desserts, where's the meat and potatoes? Wish GMMTV didn't do 90% rom-coms in regards to BL, their angsty BL is so much better.
