Well I admit its getting better as it goes on. Those first few episodes really didn't not sit well with me but its a lot better, the over the top acting is quieted down and now I can see they are actually good actors so I like that. Eh okay not as bad and getting better so far.

LMAO I get that way so I totally understand, I'm used to YouTube comments and chat afterall and that's a dumpster fire most of the time lmao! So I get into the mud from time to time but it is something I'm really trying to work on. Nah I shame no one for liking this otherwise I'd have to shame my own BF lol! No I can see how people really liked it, not my bag of tea :P but hey I really enjoyed the music, acting and cinematography. Also, even if I didn't like the story much, I'm glad it did well because I love Earth and I want him to get more work lol! The acting was damn good all around.

I specified people who SHUN, not people who simply aren't into it. Shun - persistently avoid, ignore, or reject (someone or something) through antipathy or caution. In THIS context, I used shun to describe someone who actively attacks, disparages or otherwise SHAMES intimacy - not those who simply don't partake. I know asexual people exist. So I wasn't trying to be as generalized as it came off.

You angry - I never said I HATED this series. You can dislike a thing without hating it. All I'm saying is if you watch a certain GENRE, most people expect a certain level of dedication to said GENRE so it fits that GENRE. I watch sitcoms, I expect comedy. Doesn't mean I'll LIKE their style, but its expected to be there. I'm not saying this is a bad series at all, I just didn't personally enjoy it. I didn't even rate it because my BF loves it and I like Earth so I'm glad it did well, so I don't want to give it a low rating but I can't give it a high one either. Also I still watched this all the way through, so it's not like I watched a couple eps and then formed an opinion.

Well thank you :) I do get passionate and come off as either "angry" or sometimes (although I've really tried to be better) get into stupid arguments and take things too personally because I'm used to YouTube comment sections lol. Anyways I did love the music in this series, acting is top-notch and I adore Earth so I AM glad this did well. I see some people complaining about the rating - meh no I'm glad it did well even if I didn't like it because my BF loved it, I like Earth and it was well made - just not my kind of story is all. I watch romance for intimacy and relationship building, not non-romance plot lines that take up more of the show then the whole reason I watched it to begin with - BL! I'm gay myself, so no I don't like homophobic BL, nor do I like non-con or rape. I've flipped out over rape fetishization. BUT I like intimacy. Don't assume every person who didn't like this fits into your preconceived notions of toxicity. Some of us just find rural settings boring, lack of intimacy Chinese and prudes as cringe. I loved Given, and it only has ONE kiss scene. I loved Theory of Love, written by the same person who wrote this I think. I loved Wish You which I saw on Netflix recently - I think they have two kiss scenes but the first one doesn't really count imo. Sorry for getting angry but not all people who found this boring are rape apologists so I got offended by your general statement.

Well personally I LOVE Earth which is why I gave this a chance, but the story bored me.

People are allowed to cry about it, people are allowed to love it and say its the best BL in history. People who shun intimacy are the only ones that bother me - the "I don't neeeeeeeed romance in my romance to enjoy romance!" kind of people. Sorry but not all of us are prudes.

I don't hate the show, just find it boring. I was looking for a romantic drama, not a drama with a little romance as a side plot. Rural setting for me is boring, I live in a small town and small town life is HORRIBLE and LONELY - not to mention rustic is just.... I don't like camping okay lol!

I liked the first episode, got me interested and I like seeing some familiar faces! Ever since TharnType I wanted to see the actor who plays Thorn be in his own BL so I'm mainly here for him but I'm now interested in the other couples too :) Jeno's ex boyfriend is a total piece of sh... poo.

Okay the annoying guy KINDA dialed down his annoyingness so this is a bit more tolerable. I REALLY like Xiao Ye but his bro is messed, gonna keep giving this a try but man I see some dare I say problematic elements to this.

IMO this isn't BL romance its drama with BL elements. Romance has to be the primary focus for it to be a romance series so its not what I was looking for. Watched it because my guy loves this series, if I wasn't watching it with him I wouldn't be watching it. Great music, I love Earth and Mix is a good actor. Cinematography is good but the over-focus on the non-romantic plot bored me. GMMTV is just too wholesome - at least for me. Not gonna rate because I like the actors but at the same time I didn't enjoy it. Not knocking on anyone who did, I wish I enjoyed it because my guy loves it and it would be so much better for us both to be really into it. Ugh different tastes I guess lol.
