I guess, to me actions speak louder than words and them not showing pecks/kisses reminds me of Chinese censorship and how they don't like showing gay intimacy (not outright sex but even just kissing and cuddling kind of intimacy). I read the comments on YT, people are more invested in SunMork which I can understand because they are more interesting right now and get more screen time. I'm a PeteKao/TayNew fan, I came for them and I'm not feeling it with them this time. That's what I mean by baited, they made it seem like TayNew were getting their own series but instead we get more of the second couple and a straight romance. I didn't like 3 Will Be Free (too violent), I didn't like FriendZone (cheating boyfriend isn't dumped at the end) and although I DO like DBK (SunMork is fun) its less than I expected. GMMTV just isn't doing it for me lately. But I have TharnType, Until We Meet Again and Make Our Days Count so I'm not without BL.

OMG I love it when Type is the one being cute and sweet with Tharn! I got so mad at him when he hit Tharn, and that list of rules he sent aahhh!!! But Type turned that right around with some self-reflection and deep thought -- TharnType best couple ever!

No its fine and I understand your points. But in my personal experience established relationships in BL often fail to pull people like me into them because like SOTUS 2 and others, they dull down the intimacy which is a big part of why people like me watch ROMANCE to begin with. PeteKao was my favorite BL couple so I expected more if not at least equal to what I got in KMA. Seems like they used their popularity to bait people and this series doesn't focus on them as the main couple. People who are already in relationships continue to be intimate, they won't even give us pecks lol! SunMork is going to kiss before the "main" couple lol!

OH I have a friend who is Hmong! He kinda looks Cambodian to me at first and when I asked him his ethnicity (he had just asked my european/native american background so I didn't feel it was rude) and he said Hmong, and I asked "what's that?" lmao! I like to consider myself pretty worldly but the thing I love about life is that there is ALWAYS something new to learn :) Oh yes Chiang Mai is like the cultural/religious capital of Thailand right? I've heard of it before, I have a Thai friend named Thanadorn from Chiang Mai. I hope you can convince him to travel to Thailand someday soon! It would be a fun trip and cultural experience! :D

Lol well think of it this way, ethnically I'm mainly Norwegian, German (dad) Native Cherokee and Italian (mom) and I don't speak Norwegian, German, Italian and the only Cherokee word I know is Gvgeyu (guh-gey-you) haha! Which mean's "I love you" haha! In fact I also know more Thai than any of my ethnical background languages haha! Although its pretty common for us Americans to only speak English fluently, an unfortunate statistic.

I have a friend in Thailand yes, the one who lives in Chiang Mai. I guess I could consider my BFF's boyfriend a friend also, he lives in Bangkok. I wanna visit there and meet up with my friend from Manila mostly though, its a LOT cheaper for him to travel to Thailand than the US haha! OH and my friend from Manila got to meet Tay, New and Earth when they visited Manila! :D He got pictures with them and everything! Jealous me haha! But so happy for him! Oh and my ex/BFF still lives here in the US, he visits his BF in Thailand often though and yes me and my ex are still VERY good friends and I support his relationship :)

I can understand that, I'm just thinking that people are judging the first episode a little too harshly. After a few episodes we'll all get a better idea about the tone and execution of this series. So you may be right, I'm just suggesting we give it a shot. Sammy got type-casted and I don't think its her fault. A lot of people, even I, love her as the over-the-top funny friend because she's good at it. As for the friends not really being introduced, I'm pretty sure the friendships and characters will be more fleshed out as the series progresses. Love By Chance (and also TharnType imo) are HARD acts to follow. I mean, DAMN! The LBC universe is my favorite BL universe now so I completely understand when you compare this series to those just going off this first episode. New is definitely a good director so any drawbacks I'm seeing has got me wondering what's going on Behind the Scenes ya know? Anyways I understand your points and I think they are reasonable, but just a little early is all.

Wow, lol usually on here I agree with you. For one, I love Sammy lmao and two, this time I disagree. His friends just happen to not be bigots, that's why they don't care if he likes a guy it seems. The dad wasn't necessarily "stalled" this is a artistic tactic used so often I'm surprised people don't understand the "freeze time for all but you" moments we see in film all the time. We see it as if he and his dead lover are the only things in his world at that moment, he doesn't hear his dad's pleas, he doesn't hear anything, he doesn't care to hear anything. In reality, he probably grabbed the gun and shot himself immediately but for narrative impact we see it step by step. About the main couple not interacting on the first episode, well yes this is a new one for me and I DID wanna see them interact, but hey they interact next episode so I won't complain. When it comes to depth, I mean, its episode 1... really... lol I think we're being a little TOO picky in my humble opinion. Most series start off by introducing EVERYONE and while its expository info that's important to establish who's who, it send my head into a spin. Too many faces all at once. This doesn't seem to try and push "this is who this person is" in your face as much on the first episode. Anyways that's my opinion of it lol!

Don't they have to minimize graphic violence? Especially in these kind of dramas? Perhaps that was the reason for the low light level and zoomed in camera, to kinda censor the gore? Although you do see the bullet wound in Korn's head as he's lying there lifeless.

I haven't read TOO much on LS3 because there's been SOOO much BL lately I've gotten sidetracked lmao! If I had the money to produce a BL I'd just visit Thailand. My ex-bf/best friend goes there to see his current boyfriend he met in college when his bf was here in the US for school and sends me photos/vids of their vaca, man such a beautiful country and he tells me the people are so nice! He sent me this vid of him surrounded my little monkeys haha! I think they were at a zoo. Sorry I digressed myself!

OMG yes totally! That's what I love about LBC, that's what I love about TharnType. Main characters actually identifying as a sexuality, gay in this example, which you almost never see in BL! I literally get my heart all a flutter when a character in BL says "I'm Gay" or if they would acknowledge bisexuals exist then maybe a BL where a lead says "I'm bi" eventually too! :D

I don't blame TayNew at all, this was the script and directors doing from what I've read. Also Tay and New seem less enthusiastic because this isn't actually THEIR series it seems. Its more about SunMork I guess.

As a gay person myself, my relationships have been more similar to TharnType, well without one of us being a homophobe that is lol. DBK doesn't necessarily feel more or less realistic than most BL I watch. Even though PeteKao is my favorite couple, compared to KMA they seem... less romantic. In my personal experience, even when I was in the closet, things tended to get MORE intimate as I spent time dating someone because we became more and more comfortable with each other, and more creative about how to be intimate without getting caught. And this all happened when I was a freshman in high school, I came out of the closet at 17 so I didn't have to sneak around after that lmao! I know they mainly wanna focus on SunMork but its also a thumb in the eye of some of us PeteKao fans who feel like they aren't being given a fair shake. Doesn't mean I don't still enjoy SunMork though lol! But yeah I like kissing scenes because that's what me and every boyfriend I've had have done, I can relate to that closeness. Sweet words, kinda - I get corny and poetic sometimes lol. Hugging/cuddling, totally relate! My favorite thing to do with someone I love! It isn't porn that us kiss lovers want, its having the actors sell the romance and make us believe they are KaoPete (lovers), not TayNew (friends).

I just watched the first episode, and I loved it! Based off of what I've seen so far, it appears that it will mainly focus on DeanPharm and most likely throughout the series there will be "flashbacks" to their former selves as KornIn.
