*Ok I just read about this, its just a big rape drama and not real BL. Well I still have next episode of TharnType to look forward to, that and Dark Blue Kiss, newest HIStory 3 and yeah, I don't like depressing shit.

Ahhhhhh 8 more days! I love the HIStory series'!!! I just recently re-watched HIStory 1, HIStory 2 and HIStory 3 Trapped! AND ITS ENEMIES TO LOVERS! My favorite BL theme!!! The perfect example of love overcoming hate! Super excited!!!

I believe you said it airs on the 12th? Four more days and I suppose we'll find out :) I plan to watch it, after 2Moons 2 I'm more willing to give new casts a chance :P

I just watched the trailer again for DBK lmao! I'm so excited for it! I love that Sun and Muek are getting more screen time in DBK also! I haven't seen the first episode of The Effect yet but I just watched the first episode of TharnType and I loved it! Oh thank you for the link :) I believe I have Make Our Days Count on my Plan To Watch list along with the others :)

I'm pretty much the same way lol. I don't feel like I'm missing out because I'm not interested in romances I don't really relate to or make my heart skip. I guess it's like not watching a show about court cases if you aren't into crime dramas. Its a matter of personal tastes true. And its not like I'm calling for the ban of all things I don't personally enjoy lmao! I'm glad that there is a variety of entertainment so everyone can find something to enjoy :)

Man I'm sad this is only 8 episodes because I loved the first one! MEW!!!!! Happy to see Mild and some new faces too! Looking forward to the next episode!!!

Ahhhh, yeah me neither. I mean, I feel happy for those who have such relationships and look at this as their form of representation but its not my cup of tea either, I like monogamy lmao! Same here, I think its brave for them to try something new that might not be so popular. But yes, from what I've seen in the comments and heard from my friend who is watching it that the relationship is pretty disjointed and toxic as you said. LOL I don't think Shin is a gay character because of his physical interaction with Mew/Miw. Oh yeah I've seen clips of the transgender lady and she seems very spiteful and hate filled with no sense of true justice. People dying all the time isn't my thing either haha! I agree with you on what you said and I hope a series comes out soon that we'll both like :D. Like Dark Blue Kiss for example hehe!!!

Too bad they aren't bringing back Newyear. I love Newyear, decent actor who is ACTUALLY gay lol! But I'm still curious to see how it turns out. I was upset at first when they changed the cast for 2 Moons but the new cast was AMAZING!!! So I'm more open-minded about cast changes now lol!

I'm not saying that a gay person cannot enjoy a straight romance or that a straight person cannot enjoy a gay romance but its not the norm lol. I was speaking generally, not specifically. What I'm saying is that typically, I only find gay romance appealing because I can relate to it but if a show has a great story, characters and acting then of course I'll give it a shot. And I do enjoy SOME straight romance, for example in LBC I love the romance between Pond and the girl from Puppy Honey :D They are adorable together! My issues with this series aren't just about not me being into the romance part of it, but the story is a bit dark and depressing for me too. For example, there are many BL (with skinship and everything lol) that I won't watch simply because they are too sad or depressing or trivialize rape. Even though many are good series with powerful messages -- I like happy endings only lol! Perhaps I'm a little boring that way but I like to smile and laugh more than cry. Although a good cry is healthy now and then too. And I agree with your point about girls being stereotyped unfairly, and it happens a lot in BL.

I love all the histories! I haven't read the novel so I couldn't help you there, I'd be interested to know that myself! Oh I agree, I would watch a second season JUST to see PJ have a happy ending, that wonderful boy deserved so much better. I agree, he was way more mature than HQ and only acted childish like once or twice, and I think it was understandable. This boy was in love but wasn't feeling that love returned, that would upset anyone in a relationship. Yes it became so toxic that by the end, even though I didn't want PJ to be alone I was happy him and HQ parted because he can do so much better. All the actors were great and cute though and I'd love to see them ALL again, but hopefully in a happier drama lmao! OMG yes I'm so waiting for the next History 3!!! They do such an AWESOME job and they just keep getting better and better! Do you happen to know the date when the next History 3 will air?

The series (FriendZone) started off good, then got depressing, stayed depressing, then got, wait for it, more depressing lol, then got an unsatisfying ending that felt like ending up right where things started, wasted time.

Also a lot of us wanted PlustorSingto, it didn't happen and actually whats worst is at the end of the series their characters are pretty much adversaries when they started as best friends. Plustor's character is completely unlikable once he's revealed for what he is, I grew to actually hate his character, still love PLUSTOR!!!! Also Singto's character Earth gets back with cheating asshole boyfriend no one really liked to begin with.

OMG I hated FriendZone! Which is a shame because I ADORE Singto (and he was pretty much the only good thing about that series) and I love Plustor but Plustor's character was SO TERRIBLE! I so wanted to see Plustor play a gay character, I'd been waiting for it since I saw him play Copper in Edge of 17! So disappointed that his character was a selfish jerk, terrible! Earth (Singto) getting back with his cheating boyfriend, terrible! Plustor's character being so heartless and honestly ruining Earth's life for a time and definitely their friendship which NEVER recovered, TERRIBLE! It was depressing each week seeing Earth screwed over, lied to, treated with such disrespect by his best friend, friends (except one who was awesome to him) AND his boyfriend. At least the acting was good but the story was depressing and ending sucked. Singto was that series' only saving grace, bless Singto the BL legend! Let me tell you, watching He's Coming To Me washed the sting of FriendZone out of my eyes lol! Sorry for the "rant", hmm about 3 Will Be Free - not my cup of tea. BUT I wanna at least lurk around to make sure my boy Tay gets a happy ending! Then I might watch lol!

I'm a gay member of the "BL crowd" and I'm only disinterested because I don't care for straight romance mixed in with gay romance which I think is self-explanatory as to why lol, and I'm not partial to poly either because I think its unfair to the lesser loved. However I'm more open to the poly relationship than I am to the fact that a girl is involved even though I love Mild. Three guys and I'm sold lol even though poly isn't for me personally. But two guys and girl, ehhhh that's more for bis/pans/women. However despite my misgivings I don't hate the characters or respective actors. I'm just a major Tay fan and I was hoping for a gay Tay and bi Joss but they are both bi, a common occurrence in Thai BL (not that this is BL of course). Although in recent series (like Love By Chance / He's Coming to Me) there are main characters who identify as gay. Most BL the guys are both bi, have girlfriends, dump/cheat on said girlfriend, get with guy... ugh poor girlfriends. And the gay characters are relegated to stereotypical stand-ins and comedic relief. Thankfully that is somewhat becoming less of a trope in BL. I digress, I think that the BL fandom was initially drawn to this because it was rumored and stated in a synopsis that Shin would be a gay character and perhaps they assumed a love-triangle or semi-poly arrangement (Neo is with Shin and Mew, but Mew and Shin aren't with each other) rather than a full on polygamous threesome which then begs the question is Shin actually gay? Which of course is a no lol. I think its more disappointment than anger and more them venting frustrations than hating. I understand this isn't BL and even BL itself has many heteronormative issues because its not written for me and other gay people surprisingly, its written for women, bisexuals/pansexuals and fujoshis. BUT I still enjoy it enough when I think gays are at least represented and not just stereotyped. So my reasons for not watching are purely because the theme and story doesn't jive with me but to each their own lol. I only check in on here because, again, I love Tay lmao! And I wanna know if his character Shin has a happy ending at least. Its not about hating on bisexuality, I just get bored watching the straight-side of bisexual romance just as I don't care for straight romance at all lol. Not against it, just doesn't interest me. I tried to get one of my straight guy friends to watch a BL with me, you could imagine his obvious answer lol! Now I can't speak for others and if they are being anti-bisexual then that's just stupid and wrongheaded. And I know bisexuals get a bad wrap from both the heterosexual and gay communities too which is unfair. Hell I'm currently in love with a bisexual dude :P I'm scatterbrained right now lol, sorry this is so long.

Ok I'm gonna try to give this another shot. But these guys, they look (and probably are) sooooooooooooooo young! I mean like kid young! I kinda feel weird watching because its supposed to be BL romance, I dunno. I feel like I'm being unfair. Perhaps I'm not the target age-group for this series. There just isn't much other BL airing right now lol!

*Okay I can barely understand episode 3 because the timing on the subs is off and doesn't make sense. Seems to "fix" itself around the 13 minute mark. And then the subs completely cut out around 25 minutes and don't come back until the next scene, who the hell subbed this?! Man check your work.

Communication is most definitely key to a successful relationship and true, Pin Jun didn't communicate his issues with Hai Qing well enough until it was too late. But at the same time PJ's insecurity is justified considering HQ was (unknown to him) cheating on him with Yan Fei. There are flaws in everyone's personality. But Pin Jun's flaws are outweighed by his attributes and qualities. I cannot say the same for Hai Qing who is utterly self-absorbed. And I agree, Pin Jun was pure and innocent. Sure he made mistakes but he made them out of love, not a selfish bone in his body. Haha same here! Once Pink Hair showed interest in Pin Jun I totally shipped them! Because I knew at that point HQ and PJ wouldn't work out and I didn't want sweet PJ to be alone after being betrayed. I agree, I think Pink Hair with his bright and friendly personality would be healthy for PJ after dating the depressing, meloncholy, dreary HQ. It is a pitty, but Taiwan still has the HIStory franchise which I adore! Have you seen HIStory 3 Trapped? OMG I love it!

Lol yeah true. Man I miss 2 moons 2! I'm SOOOO looking forward to (i hope) the eventual next season!!! They did so good! And such a cliff hanger! Ahhh I need more! Lol such a fun series!
