I'm not super angry, its hard to convey emotion threw text. I'm disappointed I guess. This feels like its going to be like The Judgement, and while a great series it was SO FREAKING DEPRESSING! I know some people like moody BL and that's kewl -- but I watch BL to be uplifted. Sure I love a little sad drama here but I'm not so much into the dark BL that tends to have a sad or bittersweet ending. Oh and I'm not mad at Tay or anyone that works on this series lol! No no I completely understand its a job and I'm very happy Tay is getting work. I'm bummed I can't enjoy it all! lol but hey to each their own, not all can be pleased. But I agree with many (if not all) your points. A friend of mine is watching the series (he likes it so far) and he's gonna kinda "screen" it for me lol!

Ahhh yes I always read the tags too because this site tends to be a LOT better than others about tagging series' and films more accurately and I didn't see "gay relationship" which usually means VERY little to no BL if it only has the "gay character" tag. Bullying/homophobia bugs me, but at least when used properly it can convey an important message to the viewers. Rape, however, tends to be more of a sexual fantasy than a life-lesson in BL which I find personally distasteful but I won't shame others for enjoying such entertainment. I don't think rape should be trivialized in such a manner. So I agree with you completely there. Sometimes rape, while still disturbing as it should be, is done in a way that doesn't romanticize it. I'm thinking Night Flight where its a traumatic, horrid experience for the poor guy and they treat the situation FAR more seriously, albeit it still could have been done better. There are lines I won't cross either, especially when involving rape / outrageous age-gaps / power-dynamic (grooming / person with power coerces another into sex/relationship) that kind of stuff bugs me personally.

Oh awesome! Lol its understandable that straight guys wouldn't be much into BL as BL tends to fanservice with kiss/sex scenes, beautiful shirtless guys, ect lol! That sounds pretty neat though to have a group to chat with :D I have a very good friend who lives in the Philippines (i freaking adore this guy haha) and we talk BL almost everyday when I'm not busy. YES! I was obsessed with Copter (original Kit) but I have to say that new MingKit is doing the romance justice! MingKit was my favorite couple in the original series so I had high expectations coming into this new series. In fact I was one of those silly naysayers who lamented a new cast -- I'm so glad I gave this a chance and couldn't be happier to be wrong! :D

I feel ya, I saw Yacht and got interested but then read the description... and it doesn't sound like my cup of tea. Lol I was also hoping Yacht would be playing a gay/bi guy haha! He played one of my favorite characters in Love by Chance. I don't like the rape trope in BL, happens WAY too often in Japanese and Korean BL -- and occasionally in Thai. One reason I love Thai BL so much is because its usually pure and light-hearted. Sure there is heavy drama here and there but usually not too much. I love happy endings also, BL has too many sad stories -- especially here in the US were most of our BL is depressing or insulting.

YES! The original MingKit were awesome! But I totally love these new guys also! So far I've been very pleased with their back-and-forths hehe, feels like the MingKit I remember! I liked original Forth but you are so right, this new Forth HAS HIM DOWN! The way new Forth smirks reminds me of Krist (Arthit from SOTUS to be exact hehe)! Original Pha was really fun to look at but you are right, he lacked heart. His portrayal of Phana was meaner and more aloof. New Pha seems far more warm-hearted and inviting. So I actually like new Pha better because he's not as stand-offish.
New Beam - Love him! We've only got a bit of him so far but he's sassy, naughty and funny! Lol I love his innuendos :P
New Kit - Feels a lot like the old Kit, tends to get irritated when Ming flirts hehe, but has a really good heart and loves his friends. I think the new guy is doing an awesome job by giving Kit a faithful portrayal and I love him too!
New Pha - Pretty much as I stated before, I like that new Pha is less stand-offish and aloof. He shows his kindness more and even more regret towards how he made young Wayo feel back when they were in secondary school. I enjoy the character of Pha much more this time around :)
New Wayo - Ok, I ADORE baby Bas so I was expecting to be disappointed but new Yo is doing such a good job! His character seems a bit more shy/timid than Bas' portrayal and I kinda like that. I like the new Yo a lot and he goes great with new Ming! I always loved their friendship! :D

OMG I'm feeling bad for Khai! I told myself, TEAMTHIRD! And I still am very much so, but damn Khai is actually trying now! Just goes to show you how good an action Off is, he can make me hate his character and then love his character within the same series! Lol Khai deserves some hardship for what he put Third threw, but at the same time I feel like Khai shouldn't be villified to the level he has been. I know that when I was coming to terms with my sexuality, I had a time of denial. Perhaps Khai was going threw that stage. All I know it that Third and Un are getting closer and Khai's jealousy is obvious hehe!
