I got to see The Childe two weeks ago and I was surprised it's was showing here in Canada. A solid performance from all the actors especially Kim Seon-Ho, what a brilliant actor. KSH can smile so beautifully in a frightening manner and can be humorous at the same time. Another surprised is the acting of Kang Tae Ju. I highly recommend this movie and it's 10/10 for me.
I love this drama, too bad this drama has only 12 episode. It has the right amount of plot twist and the story is unique. Shin Hye Sun always deliver and I'm a big fan. This 8/10 for me.
Why the heck this drama got an 8.4 rating is beyond me. This should be a 4 or 4.5. This drama is a big disappointment and unbearable to watch. It's basically a recycled, copy paste narrative that offers nothing new. Did I say boring? they made it look like a fairytale story and it failed miserably. I don't blame the cast, this is just another paycheck for them and they're probably laughing all the way to the bank. I blamed it on the lazy writing. Please don't bother replying to my comment as this is my my 2cents and I'm entitled to it. To each their own. As Uncle Roger would say "HAIYAA"!

I totally agree, I have dropped a lot of Romance Kdrama mid point of the series but this one was different, I kept hitting next ep. and for some reason I was hooked. One of the reason is the amazing chemistry of the FL & ML, also the cast in this drama are all amazing. I'm not gonna lie as there some scene that I ff but overall it as nice watch.
I struggled to watch 1st and 2nd Ep as the story started so slowww but after that I couldn't stop watching. The reason this drama works for me was the amazing chemistry of the FL and ML. You could feel the pain on each and every character not just the ML and FL as the story progresses. I'm hooked, line and sinker. I can re-watch this drama again and I know for sure I won't get bored.

I was confused too when I first started watching this series. The Crown Prince (with beautiful dimples when he smiles) is married with one son and his wife is pregnant. 2nd to the oldest is Seongnam CP brother, they're also BF growing up, he has a mole on the left side of his neck. Third son is the horny one etc. The Queen has five sons.
Ep. 5 ~ When the concubines were all gossiping about the Crown Prince being sick and what not, one of the concubines mentioned that the Queen was not the CP biological mother. If that's the case then who is the CP biological mother. Also, there's a secret behind Prince Sungnam birth and the mole on his left neck. What was the reason Prince Sungnam lived like a peasant for ten years separated from his mother, the Queen then reunited with all his brothers later? Were they switched at birth. And the plot thickens?????

Highly unlikely. Min Woo is very competitive person and a shit disturber plain and simple. he wants WYO out of the way and that's a fact. I'm not sure what exactly is his motive about this whole TSM shenanigans. Maybe he is doing it out of curiosity or he wants the shit to hit the fan? Who knows what is going on in his head but I for one wanted to be surprised as to what he's gonna do next, maybe a redemption arc? Min Woo's character in this drama is what the viewers love to hate. Kudos to the writer(s) and director, cast and crew who continues to wow us and deliver the goods.
