I think SHS rise to fame was after Stranger 2017, she then got a main role in a popular soap opera (My Golden Life) which was very successful from what I remember!
I think she excepted the role of a dead character because the plot is interesting and I bet she will have decent screen time via flashbacks and perhaps the male lead tracing her past life !

OMG finally someone is talking about the lack of facial expressions!! WTH! He literally has one expression 😐 if he’s sad add a tear drop, if he happy add a little smile, sometimes nothing! Just the usual blank stare! His acting is seriously BAD! I can’t believe how he’s always casted as the main role! Why? Because he’s pretty? Many supporting actors are way better looking than him yet they don’t get a chance! I don’t get it! I don’t hate him but why? And most importantly, what’s up with the female k/drama fandom! They’re always attacking female actresses “she can’t act, she can’t act, sh has one facial expression, she’s bad ewwww” but they’re FAWNING over this dude and his dramas are ALWAYS top rated! The hypocrisy mixed with self internalized misogyny is reeking yikes!

Wasn’t this his face ever since Secret Garden? He most likely got plastic surgery but not recently!! He looks the same from 2010!

This one is a drama

This is the work by the same screenwriter of The Nukdu Flower! A masterpiece! Exactly how an action political historical drama should be made! No wasting time on some boring cheesy immature romance with some cutesy song in the background! The romance was natural and mature, didn’t take too much screen time! And the female lead was written very well, a smart brave weapons dealer! I trust his writings so I’m really looking forward for this one! Plus Lee Sung Min ❤️

Ohhhh yeah the couple in Happiness!OMG I remember really loving their relationship ALOT! I guess you’re right! It’s not boring all the time! Especially if it’s not the main focus! Yeah they had a great chemistry, strong relationship and they were fighting together and trusting each other! It gave me butterflies and I don’t get that often! I take back what I said about healthy relationships lol 😂

Good communication is amazing and essential in real life! But honestly very boring in fiction! I want push and pull, something to play with my emotions and heart! Easy and healthy relationships in fiction bore the shit outta me! I’m like “awww nice, cute, how adorable... okay -______- next? Give me some drama, stir up my emotions, challenge my beliefs, give me something..... why am I watching this”

I love the whole playing hard to get, usually I lose interest when they end up together halfway through the show, it’s should be in the last episode imo!
Usually I HATE romance in thrillers, but I really loved the romance in Flower of Evil! Again communication is the way in real life, but in dramas/movies, there need to be some mystery, some drama and complicated emotions!
That’s just my personal opinion of course, feel free to disagree
