OH my bad! I meant in a *Korean* action movie! There’s hundreds of Korean action movies out there and the only ones that are lead by female characters are:- The Witch 1+2, Night in Paradise, No Mercy, The Villainess, Lady Vengeance, Miss & Mrs. Cop, The Pirates, The Huntress, Okay! Madam, Mission Possible, Coin Locker Girl and Monster! 99.9% of the other action/thriller/ political movies are lead by male characters which is cool, but not all the time! Especially for a female viewer! I want to see more female action scenes in the Korean cinema!
The romance in Flower of Evil is minimal and mature, nothing cheesy and not the main focus. plot line, characters, acting, cinematography, music was 10/10 in my opinion! Although don’t watch it thinking it’s gonna be an unbelievable masterpiece because it always happens to me with overhyped dramas/movies and I get kinda disappointed!

No really an open ending! The ending was pretty satisfying imo! It’s not like every single problem in the world is gonna be solved by the end of every show/movie! That’s unrealistic! I recommend watching it, just keep in mind it’s not a fast paced thriller, but it’s really intense, serious! Not a single second of boredom!

Yeah it’s called (Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon) by the same screenwriter, It hasn’t come out yet, completely different actors though, I think it’s gonna be a sort of a spin off story with the same vibes as the original one, I say give it a chance when it comes out you might like it

Kim Soon Ok didn’t write The Penthouse by herself alone, she had a whole team! Obviously she was the main writer/supervisor but it wasn’t just her, and this drama is written by one of her team writers, I believe under her supervision so don’t worry, you gonna get the same ol’ crazy sh!t
