I recommend watching CHIP-IN and Inspector Koo! Both are mystey-crime-dark comedy thrillers, both are in the shorter side (8-12 episodes) the first is like a slow-burn dark humor “whodunit” mystery novel , the second is slightly fast paced investigation quirky weird mystery thriller, she played a psycho there amazingly! Both are quite unique in my opinion, I really recommend them

I think you’re miss understanding what a “female-centered plot” means, if the main focus is the just the FL it doesn’t mean it’s a female centered plot, it has to be centered around 3+ female characters and their relationship, competition, entanglement and female prospective issues in order for it to be considered “a female-centered plot” , this one is clearly a law drama where the leading character just happened to be a female
According to your standards, Mouse, Tracer or Through The Darkness for example are a male-centered plot since the most important characters are 2 detectives/agents who also happened to be males! Even though they have nothing to do with male-centered issues and competitions!

I agree with you, I still have some hope , for instance the same writer who wrote that cheesy over the top drama (The K2) also wrote (Big Issue) which was a really good one, so ! I hope she will do better than that cringe (Jinxed at First)

I think the writer has a bad reputation after her recent work

I don’t know, a regular next-door family getting involved with the drug cartel, I only seen it in movies, and of course (Woman of 9 Billions)which I really really loved even though it wasn’t perfect!
