Sad for the wife? He tried to get divorce from her for years! They were living separately for YEARS you do realize that? No fault divorce is hard in SKorea and even though he gave her the opportunity to divorce him by "cheating on her" she still refuses to divorce him! How pathetic and vengeful a person can get? Marriage is NOT a forced lifetime commitment if a one party doesn't want to commit! We are in the 21 century! If you fall out of love with your spouse you have the right to get out of a loveless suffocating marriage! She doesn't love him, and she doesn't have respect for herself! That's why, to this day she's refusing to set him free! I would NEVER defend a cheater, an old man who cheated on his wife with a 20 years younger woman but in this case I will! And why would the other woman get the backlash anyway? Was she the one who's married? It's clearly not just "an affair" if they're still together for a decade! And she threw her entire career for him! They deserve better! And the wife should get some dignity for herself, live her life and get over her failed marriage that was failing way before he even knew Kim Min Hee

Me too! I hope he treats her like a queen at least! Being the nation “mistress” and getting blacklisted for her entire life (hopefully not any longer) is seriously heavy thing! I hope her friends and family are beside her all along! I was sympathetic with the wife at first, I changed my mind afterwards, she has no respect to herself! And the fact that she refuses to divorce him shows her character! He's with this woman for more than a decade! I hate cheaters but sometimes things aren't black or white! Maybe she was suffocating him and he couldn't get away from her (clearly to this day) and he happened to fall in love with a grown up woman who happened to be 20 years younger than him! If he didn't cheat on her with other young women I truly believe they're genuinely in love! She has thrown her entire career to be with this old man so fucking leave them alone! I hope she especially comes back stronger than ever and more successful! Koreans are obsessed with infidelity in dramas and movies but when it happens in real life they don't want to hear anything! Again I despise cheating and cheaters but sometimes there's situations that might make me understand why some people cheat!
