Putting aside all the drama, from a technical perspective I’m really wondering how they plan to show the upcoming “romantic” scenes in the next episode (between both couples). It’s hard to talk about genuine consent here, especially when it comes to Gao Tu, and I’m not sure how people who haven’t read the novel will perceive it. Even in the bts footage, you can clearly see that he’s acting unconscious, so how they’re going to frame it in a way that makes it look like he actually wants it, I have no idea. That’s something that worries me a bit.

This show is too slow. I don’t know if my ADHD will let me stick with it knowing that there’s about to be a boom in new series. Honestly, they should be releasing two episodes a week. Not enough is happening, it’s starting to drag, and they’ll probably cram everything into the last two episodes. I actually like the show right now🫡🌺, but I just don’t have the patience.

It’s basically like Reset. Gao Tu died with the child, and Shen was begging to meet him again and fix everything. It’s still ongoing, but it’s really nice, actually.

Changing the subject, honestly, aside from the Oscar-worthy performance of Hua Yong, it would be a big problem for me if someone didn’t love me for who I really am, but instead fell in love with the character I’m playing. But apparently, he doesn’t mind.

Let’s assume that Gao To is really a beta and not pretending. In this universe, is an Alpha–Beta couple prohibited? Are they not allowed to be together, or how does it work? Because if they’re not prohibited, then why doesn’t Wen Lang just let it go and tell Gao To that he loves him? It doesn’t make sense.
