there is no reason, if someone likes hurting others they most likely wont care for animals either, and same goes if someone likes hurting animals they most likely will be fine with harming humans..... also animals are a lot easier to obtain for their sadistic ways and a lot of serial killers/ psychopaths etc start of harming/killing animals
