Maybe I missed out on it, but can someone explain what was the reason behind killing all those cats?
Dead cats were red flags, signs that there is something bigger and darker going on. Psychos and serial killers often start with animal cruelty and then "progress" to hurting and killing humans.
I'm really confused by the ending...like I get that Jong Woo killed all the bad guys, but did he kill Seo Moon…
What we see first (Moon Jo killing everyone and then getting killed himself) is what the police and everyone end up believing happened. But then we get the real picture at the end and see that it was actually Jong Woo who killed them all and then even kept hallucinating after killing Moon Jo (even his gf saw him talking and strangling himself as if he was talking to Moon Jo). At the end when he is being taken by the paramedics he again hallucinates and sees Moon Jo entering the building. So basically even though he killed him, Moon Jo is now a part of him, embedded in his mind, guiding him to kill, hence Moon Jo's last words "You're my greatest creation" - he basically created another self who can continue his murderous legacy. I've seen the show when it originally aired but I still stop by this page every few months and see if there's someone new who needs some explanation. I could talk about this drama and the ending specifically for days haha :D
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Masterfully done, thrilling and engaging. I loved everyone's performance but I have to say I really love where Shin Sung Rok's career is going. He ensured his place among my go-to actors. Also props to Seung Yoon. I'm a Winner stan and yet after a few episodes I totally forgot I was watching an idol acting. He's just so good!
I just binged the last two episodes and I'm a crying mess. Overall I loved the drama and the characters and even the way it ended. Season 2 though? Highly unlikely. And besides - some details are put there just to tickle our imagination so following up on them would be as (not) interesting as explaining a joke.
Dropping it 12 minutes into the 2nd episode. Too much shouting and screaming, waaay too makjang for my taste, everyone is awful and the injustice and people constantly framing each other makes me wanna punch someone (well, almost everyone). Sadly, not for me.
HJM: Don't you know actor Park Sung Woong?
other kidnapper sheepishly: "I'll let you live"
I love how meta this movie is!
