she is badass, she had to survive on her own as a child abandoned by her family, then rise again, become a doctor and live among the mortals build a new family with them. She was beaten and starved as a child, her energy sapped so she lost some of her powers, and almost eaten by that devil fox. To survive all of that and to come out without needing any medication for mental health... these days people go to a therapist for a lot less.

Just because she doesn't have martial arts skills doesn't mean she is not strong or cunning. She had the inner strength to survive. Strength comes in all shapes, not just physical strength but the badass inner strength that helps you to survive despite the odds. Even Tushan Jing, survived countless times, because even he had the inner strength and resilience, although most see him as a weak cowardly based on some of the comments here....

If you want to watch a warrior FL, watch Journey to love or fated hearts. And Please understand human nature a bit better so you don't make dumb comments again.

If you like white hair, watch 'Lost you forever' one of the MLs has white hair throughout the drama and looks damn good too. 4MLs in this one

Go Ahead is great, and there is the korean version that was based on the chinese version. Dear X is kdrama though.

well its expected i guess from mediocre drama such as this. They don't have the budget for hiring chinese actors.

All the ones I mentioned, except for Joy of life and Nirvana in Fire are romance.

Lost you forever - 4 MLs. 3 of them are obssessed with FL. They are all immortals, live thousands of years. They can use spiritual powers etc.. It was a feast for the eyes, very visually stunning. CGI was exceptional and amazing acting. And all the 4 men are sso damn good looking....and there are other eye candy there too. lol And of course FL, actress Yang Zi, she is very talented. At the start she has to play a male, so even her voice is low, yet then she becomes so girly in later episodes, when she is the woman and wearing beautiful dresses. It is HE, but your heart may still be broken depending on which of the 4 MLs you were rooting for.

If you want something more lighthearted then "a Dream within a dream" or "Romance of tiger and rose" is for you. I laughed so much watching them both. Most drama with Zhao Lusi are comedic and easy watch.
"Love like the Galaxy" is also with her, actually the best drama with her. Very much romance focused.

"The Double" was also very good, romance focused and revenge. At the start, FL is literally buried alive by her husband, she claws her way out the mud and takes on identity of another woman who is murdered. She goes to the family of that dead girl as her, takes revenge for that girl and for herself. Along the way she meets ML, who helps her, he's the Duke who works as some type of police or inspector of sorts. The ost of this drama is so beautiful, there is a scene where the evil princess dies (her husband gets entangled with the princess), and the music and that death scene took my breath away... I listen to that song everyday.

There are newer drama that have come out this year, that I haven't watched but you can check them out, they are all romance focused: Shadow love, Blossom, Prisoner of Beauty. they all have high ratings and much talked about.

haha trust me, the eye candy in Lost you forever is not something to be missed. And its also very visually stunning, the costumes the sets, CGI they use is lovely.

But if you like strong FL, then Fated Hearts and Journey to love have both FL with strong martial art skills. Both are assassins/fighters or warriors. They don't need anyone to come save them.
The Double: FL is very smart, outsmarts everyone and gets her revenge.

My favourite two historical are Joy of Life and Nirvana in Fire. Both are more focused on politics, intrigue, bromance, solid plot and acting, less romance. Joy of life is more comedic. NIF is more serious. These both have raised the bar for me. Watching these two the plot is so good that you actually don't miss the romance. There is romance, just not the focus.
If you want romance focused, then "Lost you forever" is good with lots of eyecandy, 4 MLs. Reverse harem. The silver haired one stole everyone's heart.

"Romance of tiger and rose" and "a Dream within a dream" - both are more lighthearted and funny. Not as good, as the previous ones but still enjoyable. In both FL either a writer or an actress from modern era and ends up in the script. in Dream within a dream, I was laughing so much the first few episodes.... it slows down afterwards. But if you are in the mood for something simple and fun, these two would be better.

Honestly I had low expectations, since I was even disappointed with drama such as Queen of Tears, which was overhyped as well. I watch a lot of Cdrama lately, and some of the drama I gave 10/10 were all cdrama. A lot of kdrama have been disappointing lately. Only one kdrama impressed me recently, and that was My Dearest. Of course I don't expect anything less from Nam Goong Min, but even the plot was good. It is loosely based on "Gone with the Wind"

However in general, I prefer Historical Cdrama, and I like modern kdrama...

I'd say its your low expectations...you are satisfied with less. You should watch more and better drama.

I agree with you. I enjoyed the first 4 episodes well enough although it was clear the drama wasn’t very deep or interesting. By ep 5 I was struggling, I had to fast forward quite a bit. I like food but if I wanted to watch a food show I would just go on YouTube for a cooking show, I was looking for romance but there is practically none. The plot is boring. Now I’m on ep 9. I’m disappointed with a lot of kdrama recently. Yoona’s King the land, I dropped it after ep5. I don’t think I’m going to watch any of her other drama. All overhyped.

The Chinese they are speaking is terrible, feels like they are deliberately making fun of the chinese as a group. I'm sure koreans speak better chinese than this. Or they could have hired real chinese actors or dubbed with voice actors. This drama is getting ridiculous.

Its pretty bad, if I'm struggling this early on. I think its trying to compare itself to Mr Queen, but its failing. Mr Queen was a masterpiece in comparison and better chemistry between the leads.

I'm on ep5 and struggling.... its not that good.

I decided to drop this drama, I don't like too much CGI and I couldn't get into it. But I only was on ep 1, so I may give it another go when I am in the mood for it.

Why don't you post this on the Forum Community section? You keep posting this challenge everyday here, and its annoying. I can't find any comments about this particular drama, all I see is your challenge posts. This comment section is for Till the end of the moon drama.

FL is pretty but bad at acting. ML is a good actor, yes his face is not really suitable as ML, but he is not bad as an antihero ML. He played a villain role in Princess Weiyoung. He looks better from the side. Its not the nose thats the problem, it his wide face and wide set eyes.

I'm watching this now and struggling. I'm on ep 9 and contemplating if I should give up or put on hold. But your comment that it gets better, gives me hope. FL is the worst assassin ever, she has no plans or ability to complete her mission. The actress is also not very skilled as an actor, but she is gorgeous. ML is good actor and I love 2nd ML Tan JianCi, watching for him.
