After months of everybody defending it, I see everyone is finally seeing this show for what it really is...lol

But idk, I kinda liked episode 11 in a fuck-it-the-plot-twist-is-unexpected sort of way
might stick to it till the end now lol.

Look, first off, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade. So prepare for some harsh opinions. Contrary to a lot…
I agree. Too many fillers and fakeouts.
It's dangling a carrot in front of the audience and expect us to chase it.

But if people expect BL and not getting rhey will seop viewing it
Then perhaps the production should've never marketed it as BL to begin with.

And now a comment out of spoiler tags: I think a lot of people are unfairly judging this show based on the fact…
You have some fair points. And I very much agree with you this is probably one of the more pleasantly surprising shows I've seen in a long time. The chemistry between everyone is off the chart. And the acting never felt wooden or stiff, plus the music is very playful and catchy.
That said, what I find hilarious is how the visuals of the cast can cloud people's judgment of the nature of the show they are viewing. In other words, what differs this particular story from KISS/KISS ME AGAIN and FRIENDZONE is that there is zero concrete indication that this show is dedicating its plotline toward an ACTUAL BL. Let me explain.
This show, according to this official page, has a total of 10 episodes. We are 7 episodes in like you said, and episode 8 teases the return of the main female lead, the complication it brings to HER potential love interest, another character and his GIRLFRIEND's issues, but we have YET to see the true point of view of the main male lead that's been billed number one in the cast.
So far. EVERYTHING we've seen is from the POV of the main FEMALE lead despite trapping inside the male lead's body. That means nothing other than a contrived plot device. NOTHING we've seen, other than a couple of fan-servicing but ultimately meaningless moments between the male lead and his brother, and/or the male lead and his best friend, has indicated this show is prioritizing the BL aspect of the story. It's played off as more of a side and/or comic relief storyline.
Did Kiss/Kiss me Again or FRIEND ZONE wait till the last three episodes to truly introduce one-half of its BL leads? No, they both appeared in the first episodes of their respective shows.
I see a lot of comments talk about "queer-baiting", and I myself have mentioned it a few times too. Because this is really a classic example of that. Because you simply cannot wrap up a show halfway over its overall runtime and still force it to be a BL, not when you spent the majority of it dealing with the non-BL stuff, apart from the gimmicks/fan-service moments.
You're absolutely right, a show can be whatever it wants: comedy or semi-parody. What is shouldn't be is false-advertising, or plainly, use BL as a drawing factor while ultimately doing a bait-and-switch.
Of course, this is all just my opinion. But I hope it makes more sense.

I understand that there's been a lot of hate in terms of the recent episodes, and a lot of people dropped it for that reason...So let me pitch in :)

I think a successful show needs to do the following:
1) having a coherent plot that doesn't feel like scenes stitched together
2) giving the right amount of plotlines and resolutions to all characters
3) random WTF moments are good comic relief, but shouldn't happen every 5 minutes
4) not leading the audience on with fan-service moments and false advertising to mask its hollow and empty content despite a talented cast and praying the audience to stick to it just to see if they can manage to save a mess of plot in the last four episodes and hoping a character we haven't really met since the pilot to magically switch back to his own body and establish a bond with the audience and somehow still be a redeemable character which has never been done in any other show ever.

Everybody loves twists and turns, but nobody loves overusing gimmicks.
Treat your audience with intelligence and trust that they can tell when your plot is basically unrelated scenes thrown together to literally justify the title of the drama.
Write your story with an end goal in mind instead of baiting the audience. Don't repeat your previous mistake from two months ago, GMMTV. Please?
High five to that.

I think this might be the worst show I've ever seen. I was holding on cuz of quarantine and having nothing else…
I kind of almost inclined to agree with you. I think it has redeeming qualities but I do feel like the writers are just going with how they're feeling everyday without a concrete long term goal.
It only has 10 episodes, so I'm not sure what kind of conclusion they are aiming for here other than we can only hope. But even hope sometimes isn't enough to save a mess.

I'm sure Way didn't feel special for Kim only during the body swap. he definitely had developed his feelings for…
I'm hoping that too, But I just don't have confidence this is the direction they are going for. Let me break it down.

You and I are best friends and nothing more.
I have a GF who doesn't have a good personality.
A cool girl with a great personality accidentally switched body with you and her contagious personality transferred into you.
Now suddenly I'm beginning to see you in a different light because the girl's personality is shining through despite living inside your body. So much so that I even switched the wallpaper of my phone to the night "you" and I had BBQ.
Now, you tell me, do I like you or that girl? Do I get rid of my GF for you or for the beauty within?

I hope this makes more sense.

I am sure did. And he didnt knew pan was in kim’s body. So he fell in love with real kim
so he fell in love with real kim with pan's personality. im sorry but that is still pan. his wallpaper is of him and the pan version of kim. seems pretty straight forward at this point.

People really are sleeping on this show. It's not because the plot reminds you of HIStory 1 that you shouldn't…
I think judging by the way HISTORY 1 was developed and how this series is going, you might want to brace yourself for a very different ending. And probably not one that you expect or like.

A couple of things that I noticed.
Way's wallpaper was of the night they had BBQ like you mentioned, which means he actually likes the version of Kim in which Pan took over his body. So no, that is most definitely not the real Kim. Just because you host a corporal body doesn't make what's inside of that body is the owner of that person's soul.
Also responding to your earlier comment about how we haven't seen Kim's side yet, with the next batch of episodes seemingly focusing on Pan's return to school, AND the fact that the series only has 10 episodes, I very much doubt that we will ever see Kim's POV. It's pretty clear the show is setting up Pan/Khet as the endgame and not going to wrap up Kim's storyline.
Therefore, this is a queer-baiting tactic.

Responding to some early comments, I just don't think this is a true BL at all. Which is something I honestly get if not for the QUEER-BAITING toxic culture. And I don't like it.
The show has 10 episodes and we have not seen the true version of one-half of the supposed BL couple.
Wishful thinking tells me one thing, but logic proves another. Simple as that.

I like this series alot, and can't believe people are skipping/missing out on this series just because it doesn't…
I don't think this doesn't "look like real BL," I don't think this is true BL at all.
The conclusion at the end of episode 7 and the teaser for episode 8 pretty clearly spell out what is to come. The truth of the matter is they incorporated too many plot-lines, and yes, ships to a point that it's hard to imagine this story conclude with a satisfying ending for everyone. Furthermore, we're half way through the show and haven't once seen the real Kim's POV, who is billed number one in the cast. Forgive me for being iffy about it, and the show is very funny and intriguing, but it's also pretty clearly queer-bating.

Lol MCU does put fake scenes in the trailer to prevent spoilers. They even edit out entire characters so we don't…
I've seen all of them and I liked all of them to certain degrees. I'm just a little confused by why is this the standard practice to Thai BL shows.
Replying to lily Jun 15, 2020
i don't know if it's just a thai bl thing, or just a GMMTV thing, but a lot of the times they release a teaser…
I like Theory of Love & DBK. LBC is from a different studio if I understand correctly? The point is, if the producers/writers haven't even figured out what they're presenting, then maybe it's wiser to find some other ways to get the audience hyped. Because otherwise, It'd be like receiving a different item in the mail from the one you ordered online, because what the seller displayed on the website showed something different.
