I have just realized there is a strong Little Prince reference. And that is how Na called Tofu at the beginning too.

The Little Prince asks the snake to bite him at the end of the novel so he could return to his home planet, and just before that he is consoling the aeroplane pilot that it is gonna seem like he dies only.

Are we sure the novel ends as one of the commenters claimed below? As I have seen it is not a direct source and even the person did not seem to be very sure of that.

I am still very uncertain about the endgame but there are increasing signs and hints Tofu may not return to his Teddy Bear format.

- He is becoming more and more human and he is gradually emphasising in his monologues how much he loves and understands now the human nature, and that he does not wanna be a Teddy bear anymore (unlike he did at the beginning).
- Nut keeps repeating Tofu should promise to stay by his side forever and Tofu repeatedly promises he stays with him.
- Tofu realized he needs to find Tarn not to fall asleep forever (like the furnitures and objects) so he wants to live. (Why is that Tarn instead of Nut, becasue Nut has been his owner and not Tarn is rather baffling , though).
- In episode 10 it was pointed out - purposefully, I guess - that Nut is over his first love, even though he affectionately remembers to it. Tarn's ambigious facebook/IG posts are distracting though.

Of course, these might be just red herrings as well to trick us.

A few episodes earlier Tofu asked Nut about this and he answered that Tofu's resemblance to Nueng was the main reason he let him stay in their house, because he was extremely curious. He also mentioned that he had done some research in Song's family to see whether Tofu is somewhat related to them.

Yacht looks much younger than his age, but he is actually of the same age as Karn and only 5 years younger than Nut.
