I mean… I wouldn’t be too mad at how people kept spamming low rating on this drama on MDL because while it’s…
This board is heavily over-represented by clueless and generally negative-minded western audiences who cannot handle adult themes and complex quality shows.
SJWs keep coming to downgrade it when they learn a show they regard as "toxic" has a high rating. Business as…
They do even more than that. When History 4 was airing loads of freshly registered blank accounts appeared one after another. People made multiple accounts straight away just to increase the number of those trashing the show and push the ratings down.
I think they should be promoted to leads because they are BETTER. Well, to be fair, the actor playing Thorn is…
People could be stiff in their own different ways. Aii is stiff in a way that he feels awkward about his new situation but he is pretty open and upfront to express his emotions. Tupfah on the other hand is physically fairly self-confident on the surface but he has just started to learn how to show emotions (like in the scene 143). Torn has been in love with Tupfah for quite some time, he was clear about that at the beginning. While the other way around Tupfah has just started to discover his own feelings for Torn, not so long ago he was still trying to hit on Ing.

Why do people think a kiss between two college students should always be a compassionate, lustful, devouring French kiss with the accomplished routine of porn performers? Why could not it be awkward, hesitant and uncertain as it is very often like that irl, especially by two young guys who probably have never kissed before?
What happened to the ratings ?? It went from 8.2 to 7.9 !

I totally agree with you. One of the finest assets of this series (there are many) that it makes you invested in all 3 couples' stories and all the 6 guys deliver quite well. I have never been able to understand why some just cannot accept that there are stiff characters in the world too and they need to be acted as stiff ones.
Literally this show manages to subvert every single toxic trope usually placed in BLs to add 'drama'. Annoying…
"yes I can't actually either believe that this is actually a trope just put in bls" What are you talking about? Have you ever seen a lakorn? Everyone is double-crossing everyone else in those up and down. In BLs actually it is pretty rare to have cheating but whenever it happens half of the comment section is full of hysterical meltdowns as if the creators owed those having such triggers to drop this plot device.
So now we got to the point where it is not even enough if Dome breaks up with his gf, he and Vee could never even be together because once in their lifetime, in their college years Dome and Pan were an item. Dome should possibly wait till Pan dies of marasmus up to the point of rigor mortis to start dating someone else. Or wait, he should probably burn the house on himself once Pan passes away like an ancient Indian memsahib. Seriously the number of embittered, butthurt, prudist, judgemental BL Karens over this board make Torquemada and the entire Spanish inquisition seem like kind empathists in comparison.
BL fans when they see product placement: Boo, product placement boo, it is sooo lame.
BL fans when they have to subscribe to a streaming platform to watch a show legally or when the production team dares to charge the price of a fucked up takeaway coffee for their show and hence they would be able to support the creators: Pleeeaaseee gimmmeeee a link when I can watch it for freeeeee.
And the obnoxious twat down there even proudly proclaims they watch it on illegal sites.
I have seen several people complaining about their acting. For the umpteenth time I feel like watching something completely different than some others. All the 6 guys do very well for rookies. They are clearly inexperienced, but they do have potential. I definitely feel their emotions.
I also love the theme. It could easily have become standard and very tropey due to the uni setting and the sporting milieu, but actually it manages to take some new twists and interesting aspects. I am particularly in love with the way they approach each other with subtle nuances and timid motions, both physically and verbally.
A quiet, subdued, literate and lyrical little South Korean movie about coming out. Full of pleasurable moments and with an stunningly effective addition of Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 as an underlying theme. Beatiful to behold.
So will they eventually kill off Pha or does he recover by the end? Kit told him he wanted to make sure Pha fulfills his dreams too and he becomes a doctor. In the credits Pha is dressed in doctor uniform.
I'm definitely liking the show a lot, it's definitely campy feeling but I feel like it's also better compared…
I enjoy this a lot more than My Day. Yes, it is camp and over the the top, but knowingly and self-consciously so, and it does not take itsef seriously. It is like a self-spoof. I really don't get the butthurt comments. I guess they don't treat it with a pinch of salt as it should be.
