This was the end or a cliffhanger for a S2?

Idk if we really can speak of "deserving"... ofcourse choosing duty over what your heart truly wants can leave you with regrets....but she might be able to live a calm stable life with the officer. The problem is the officer already lied to her to make himself look good in her eyes...so I think there will be trouble. The young boy also lied to her about JH being dead....they really aren't helped by the people around them.... ofcourde this is part of why we watch drama in the first place😂

Didn't they just both make mistakes because they both have a lot of pride and are strong characters? It's quite realistic....alas people make big mistakes if the dont convey their feelings sincerely...both of them held back in moments they shouldn't have, both made negative suppositions about the other without verifying the others true feelings.....leading to their tragic seperation. It's clear they both love
eachother but there are other factors. Both went through alot without the other knowing how much they suffered, so I sort of understood why Gil Chae couldn't just abandon everything...we're also talking about a whole different era than now so....I guess their timing always is off....I'm sure they will meet in the future again.

This drama is painful to watch but also very exciting....!

Wow that was a 10 episode rollercoaster ride. These 2 mainleads aren't the general kind you find in kdrama. Both are a bit "unlikeable" at the start. Both have a lot of pride and are very sarcastic when they speak to eachother. But as soon as we start to get to know them better, you start to see through their armour.

I came to love Gil Chae, she is freaking courageous and pulled her little group and family through the worst hardships of war. She knows how to take action and doesn't hesitate. Yes she isn't the "normal" sweet submissive kind of girl but a fighter. It's too bad she can't seem to let her guard down in front of the person she loves most, and also that she is so pulled down by her responsibilities and practical feelings on life that she just can't follow him in the end, even if she forsook her heart.

As for Jong Hyun, also not the most sympathetic at first sight but bit by bit we get to know this super smart mind, and the true kindness he hides behind his aloof, indifferent, nonchalant behaviour. He is more courageous and true than any...being a spy for the crown prince got him ultimately mixed up in things he actually never wanted....if only...if only Gil Chae would have let go of her pride and told him to not leave with the crown prince.....she pays the high price for it all...and so does he.
The last scene with him leaving was a bit too much, but ok....I'm in for the second part...I just hope this doesn't end in tragedy till the end...who is the new girl he meets!!??

But seen the way the story starts, with him on the beach....up against an army of men....I feel this might not end well

Anyway I really like the two mainleads alot, because they aren't the standard sweet couple we get spoonfed in most dramas these days. It's exciting and unpredictable!!!

Best drama: my heart sways between Flower of evil and Beyond evil.....both were excellent!

Don't miss this! It's an awesome plot and top tier acting!

I loved this show. I found the ending wholesome and well done. It really was a great ride and made me forget my daily life troubles following the team and their hardwork. Following their dreams.

As for the romance: so happy they didn't go for the overused destined couple or the falling for idealised childhood image. Dalmi and Nam do San are just perfect together, loved this team working couple. As for Mr Han, it looked more like he wanted a family more than anything else, and I think in the end he found exactly that.

I feel episode 13/14 should be the last of the drama....why drag it out more at this point. Mr Han is nice but his obviously is getting the shortens of the stick. I thought Nam do San was really cool here and feel this all could have been wrapped up this week.....so I hope they don't drag it out and ruin it all like another drama I watched recently.....

This drama was unexpectedly entertaining funny and pretty revealing about what new mothers go through!

Too bad.....those last 2 episodes spoiled the story for me. Him getting sick out of the blue and the fake death and rushed comeback was really just too much....it was so adorable but this was like putting too much mayonnaise in your eggsalad.....what a shame, Lee Jae wook was so cute, especially when he smiled widely, with those pseudo dimples....but even the cutest stuff couldn't save the plot.

That last episode was really so painful! Omg it hurt so much to see them all crying so hard...

I was so sad that NDS had to leave. Dal Mi already fell for NDS....so I don't really think HJP has a true chance any more.

This is getting really good. Btw I'm all DalDo!! They are just way too cute together!!!omg!!

Lee Jun Gi is really one of my favourite actors! What a man!!! This was a great ride!

I really love this actor!!! So versatile!!! He can play all kind of characters! Too good! I've been following him since "cheese in the trap", and he hasn't disappointed me! Can't wait for "Something about us"!!!

This was beautiful, warm......made my heart squeeze!!!! Loved it all!

I don't understand why some are criticizing so harshly. I actually found it good. There are some other cringe worthy shows at the moment, but this definitely isn't one of them.

This isn't the genre I prefer, but the acting was just on top of it, the pacing a rollercoaster ride. So 9/10!

This drama is on the verge of being too corny....... I'll give it one more chance, because it's JCW , or I would have dropped it already....

I really love Wookie and the lead female played in one of the dramas I really loved "just between lovers" and she was great.....this looks like comedy though.....not sure about it. I'm picky because of time issues.....
