:D jah, midagi sarnast, mu "vanemate" alguspiir on tegelikult kuskil 80ndates. Vahemikus 1980-2005.Olen leidnud sealt tõesti häid.
Kuna ma eriti ei hooli comedy genrest, enamik on liiga (...kuidas nüüd öelda, erm,...) ajutegevus vabad või isegi ajutud,naljad on ülepingutatud või nõmedad,on head comedy dramat on raske uuemate seast leida.

im not trilled about article idea bc then you must look out for spoilers and try tiptoe around fandom bc they can eat you alive.
I thougt something more private and if this challenge goes well and outcome is interesting...maybe then take our thoughts and make article if you want, something like : diary of duel, watch with mine eyes, o.s.l.t. Main point is: talk before watching then watching both 1 eps in nearly same time frame and aftertalk...erm its sounds almost sensual.../runs away embarrased and red to ears/

Nice to see that this news has made here :D I already posted about Kimura Takuya into his forum thread a long time ago.

It would be nice if next Drama Academy Awards where published here too. Would benice chance to compare how dramas are doing here in MDL and in Japan.

Ma näen Compl. listist, et sa oled rohkem light romcom fan ja enamasti vaatad kdraamat. Oled sa proovinud mõnd tõsisemat kdramat? Ma ise olen ka peamiselt kdrama vaataja, kuna seal on rohkem orignaal käsikirju ja näitlemise stiil on loomulikum aga olen siiski leidnud jdrama hulgast mõned superhead dramad ning väga andekaid näitlejaid.
Üldiselt eelistan tiba vanemaid näitlejaid fännata kuna saan jälgida kogu nende kujunemise lugu läbi aja,noorest algajast kuni tänapäevani. Noorte näitlejatega on tihti nii, et peale näolapi ja ühe õnnestunud osa ning suure hulga fännide pole neil eriti midagi pakkuda.Mõnel üksikul on tõesti kaasasündinud anne aga kahjuks tihti, eriti jdramas üritatakse talle selgeks teha, et ta seda ei kasutaks.
Vanematest näitlejatest huvitumine on kaasa toonud ka selle, et olen vaadanud hulka vanu dramasid ning pean nentima, paljud neist on üle tänapäeva drama keskimise.

What is good? Is it good that im sad? o.O

p.s. may i suggest to you a deal? Lets both watch on drama what we didnt like but what you/me liked? with ep by ep changing thoughts trieng make other partie to understand greatness of this/that drama?

You really should watch some his dramas, like: Pride, Beautiful Life, Love Generation, Long Vacation, A Sleeping Forest, Mr.Brain, Good Luck...uhhh, there is so many good ones. Look around and chose what suits you more :D

Like you see all three are jdramas and with same main actor: Kimura Takuya but i can promise to you - you injoy every role bc he is really talanted.

..eee..um..i like to take you from word :D. Im glad to hear that there is jdramas what actually have original script ( not adapted or baseing on manga/manhwa, anime, light novel, novel, game, history fact/event or biografy)written only for this drama. But thous dramas are very hard to find. Seems that you know jdrama well, maybe you can list for me some? Mine jdrama part is lately kinda poor bc mine weird taste and watching habbits. I like good acting and talanted actors ( and with talant i dont mean just looking hansome and cool)with smooth storytelling and good script. All in one is nearly impossible but still have hope...

p.s. old jdramas dont count bc then jdrama still had some originality, KT dramas dont count too bc thous are nearly only ones what i have already found.

Yes, it is jdramas strong side and weak side in same time. Strong bc it gives big audience beforehand made from thous who liked manga. Weak bc already knowning story and having some image in your head might lead to diapointment with drama if this doesnt live up to your expectations.
And try to please this audience is point what has dragged jdrama creative side down. Its not lack of talanted actors and directors, it is lack of backbone. Jmovie is doing better than jdrama in this area.

...ehee, im the impatient one. I like to see actors growth in time too bc of this i like older talanted actors - i want see that growth now, here. Not to wait years. Still to me there is few younger ones on whom i keep eye but even from thous few i have gotten big disapointments. Todays entertaiment industry needs quick money and teatching of actors is on same level. It is nearly fysicaly felt how base of actors acting skills get thinner and thinner and faces more and more handsome.Im not against hansome actor if he can act, if he has talant.This situation needs very strong will of actor to learn and grow.
im more busy in RL and mine watching speed is slow, add here that i started with animw again. Randomly picing up dramas is one of mine way to find interesting actors.

1....somehow this remake of remake...gets boring, the sotory is same so it is just up to actors and directors but...it is very hard to not give in to temptation for overplay and clishes and fanservice, syndrome what is so usual for jdrama.
2. Manga adaption, again. I know that ST can act well and if they keep story without big changes it might become nice movie.
3.I have feeling that this is manga adaption too bc story is so familiar...too familiar, i must look maybe i can found its original.
Anyway story is simple, so again its up to directors and actors. i think its might be nice one but there is minor chance they make it boring - you know japanese view of working not married woman.

It seems so, might be that oler ones have more acting skills, so i like their work better.
Sometimes, when i watch some drama with higly hyped young actor...he has looks but...i can injoy his acting. but then there is very few youn ones whom i like too bc they are natural talant and work hard.

Not jet but i have read summaries. This drama is in mine PtW list waiting moment when i feel so bc of leading actor So Ji Sub. I have sampled many of his works...but somehow his acting style doesnt tempt me, it isnt bad but it has that something what for me makes watching into hard work... so i have put thous dramas/movies on hold, waithng day when i finally get what is this weird thing and how to overcome it.
