Now when many websites are gone i even dont know were you can watch it. BTW it has two versions: one long for local audience and other shorter for international sale. Differences are really tiny.
I kinda like this adaptation. Main reason is how they show backside of entertainment world in Korea.

Path of young talents to scene what looks from outside so fairytale like is actually filled with sacrifices and hurts.
Other thing what i like is how creators have solved minor-adult relationship. Actors are chosen very fiting by looks - female is mature looking and male is very young looking /RL age difference isnt big too/ so romance of their characters looks natural for audience. and doesnt make you go "ewww!" in bit more intimate scenes. same time male character doesnt look too immature...even if he is from inside.
One thing what happens to young people in ent. world - with work they must grow up very fast and they are professionals already in very young age but their social side outside work .....is supressed.
They are controlled with whom they socialise and how. No dating and loss of old friends - we all know it already. Young people arent ready that with their rising into fame people around them change a lot, That situations what were natural before are now dangerous and can lead to loss of their dreamed future.
All thous backside details are what i like in this drama, main story is nice and fluffy. I hope they create fitting ending to it.
This drama is made for young actors to get started in drama world or get some more drama experierence, so i dont expect very deep rolemakings but i expect good directing and writing. so far this side is ok.

YAI was even in Fashion King good, it was fist thing what i saw with him and despite poor plot and maybe not so good coactors....he managed in me rise interest into him and i went and watched with him all what i could find- movies, interviews, dramas. Since from FK i am his fan.
So....it was not superb or even good drama but....even there are moments like gems.
Acting is so good that you even dont notice any flaws in writing / and there are few kinda big ones/ at first glance.
Still, I like past scenes and bit mysterious elements in story. Pace seems slow but actually it isnt, already within 3 ep, has happened so much in both planes - events and feelings.

:D thous episodes fly by in blink of eye and during watching you get moments when you cant breahe, when tears fall from your eyes so that it is hard too see. moments when you laugh like madman, epic moments when you get goosebumps and tiny bit romance what melts you into puddle of goo. Acting is more than superb and plot is well written.
I'm sorry I can't see what everyone else sees in this drama. The plot is all over the place, the pacing…

Lol.....if you watched drama with thought, you could see that she knew why powers were taken from her. Like her personality is she accepted responcibility...like she has done always. She had example, her mother by her eyes all life, she knew this happens if she hurts innocent person aka missuses her power.
Like you noticed she felt lost, felt like she doesnt fit in her life anymore, she was worried that others are worried. With two days full of things happening in light speed...you just dont have time to grow resentful. Still she went thru first step - denial / scene with apple/, next step anger started to grow but was cut short by events.
Or what kind development you would want to see within two days full of all kind things happening? You wrote "if it were you and you lost something that heavily defined you I'm pretty sure you'd feel somewhat resentful" ....erm..im sure that i wouldnt been able even start first step - denial in mix of that chaos.
Btw. she was resentful bc of her powers, she wanted live normal life, wanted attention her mother what was given to her brother. Why sould she be resentful now when she got her wish? That was even mentioned in one scene. Her character had already kinda lot depth even before. Ways how she helped people, how she hided her porwer, how she dreamed about real job and creating game, her crush, her behaviour when she accitently used her power. Her worries and dreams, her behaviour - all let us peek into her......and this is character depth....at least for me.
Dark emotions and violent feelings arent only markers of deeply written character.
People are different and do things,feel things with different pace.
...and they see same things from different angle.

About getting powers back....to show why there was that weird power from the beginning of eras....power behind power and reason for it.
Side scenes and story lines are just references to audience for thinking what is bad and what is good.
Lomeo and Luliet dream scenes are just for fun....our drams are bit twisted mirrors of our thoughts and feelings.
