Am I the only one that believes Woo Tae Ho and Jung Hee Soo were NOT lovers? I think she was his friend and he…
That was a frustrating thing for me. We see that she comforted him and they had a mutual trust and affection towards each other - in an environment where you had to be ruthless and could be backstabbed anytime they were a comfort for each other. I do believe they were in love but both were to good to have an actual affair. I think that if neither were killed nothing would have happened until Woo Tae Ho had a divorce.
So i dropped s1 near the end can i just start watching this season or are the plots linked?
I believe you don't really need to watch the S1 to enjoy S2. Since you dropped it near the end you should have some context of the characters already and S2 is taking on a new storyline so I don't believe you will be too confused.
@rainystee I agree with you almost in everything but I do believe the serial killer story is related with the…
Oh that would be a twist! Judging from your profile pic you have good taste in kdramas so I will hold on to your theory ;) I'm also glad I'm not the only one disliking the daughter - I don't see what she brings to the story. This is a detective drama not a romcom.
I guess if you are not interested in the new cast's story you wouldn't love this season but for me personally…
Since my comment was already long I didn't mention Nanas storyline, so I'm glad that you commented on my post! Her and her husband's story does give the drama depth which I really do appreciate. By the way, the two actors micro-expresions are just way to good, really makes me wonder about what is going on in their heads. :)
I guess they are done with the serial killer story line, huh? That was one of the few exciting points of season 2 and now that that is over the show just lost a lot of it's tension. I have to say that I am not liking this whole police chief daughter character - not because she is here instead of the reporter lady but because the chiefs daughters character seems to revolve only around her being clueless and her only character trait is just having this crush on an atractive detective. It's 2022! Having a character whose main personality trait is being in love with another character is just cringe. At the very least in season 1 the reporter lady had more personality and actually did some useful stuff - I think the main reason for missing the reporter lady is because not only she had a solid loveline (based on trust and communication) but that she actually added something to the story such as leads and a different perspective on characters. Season 2 saving grace is the friendship and bond between the detectives in the violent crimes unit, I am so glad that the writers chose to focus on this - it feels like a solid detective drama. But the drama can't only focus on the detective unit bond - a drama needs some tension.
