But Adachi's moral dilemma in episode 11 has nothing to do with his sexuality or the gender of the person he loves?
All I really wanted to say is despite that Adachi, with his powers, has all means to vet and confirm Kurosawa's thoughts and intentions vis-a-vis his actions in the context of their relationship, and should not have agreed to the breakup, I am inclined to cut him some slack because of the circumstances surrounding him.

But Adachi's moral dilemma in episode 11 has nothing to do with his sexuality or the gender of the person he loves?
I'm just supposing it still influenced his recent decision subconsciously. In episode10 he was on the fence about consummating his relationship with Kurosawa, being not ready to have sex but not minding if sex is with Kurosawa. I also noted he has apprehensions about saying date readily, completely and out loud in several occasions. He is a mess, and it is undeniable his recent feelings toward Kurosawa are one factor why.
If Adachi were gay even before he acquired his magical powers, I would say he owes Kurusawa big time for being so indecisive, especially the way he acted in the latter part of episode 11.

But I am personally giving him some slack. He developed feelings for Kurosawa, a guy, only recently and is probably just confused. He needs a little slap to make him realize he is the most fortunate person in the world for being loved and adored by the great Kurosawa.
