thanks for saying this! i could not finish episode 7! i found it so boring and i want to drop it so bad... T_T
I hope you continued on to episode 8 and enjoyed it. It's such a shame that the director is choosing to arrange the scenes this way. Overall the plot and acting is great, and I keep watching because I'm actively invested in the characters, but--ugh--it could be so much better with better editing!

The end shows that he's tracking this American scientist who is trying to turn zombies into humans. IMO it doesn't…
I suspect the American scientist from Atlanta, GA, was a nod to The Walking Dead, which takes place and is filmed in Atlanta and other parts of Georgia.

Is it worth watching? I don’t want to lose any more time on boring dramas.
I found the first 1.5 episodes boring due to a lot of exposition, but after that the plot picks up and is interesting. That being said, the plot is told in a series of flashbacks and switching points-of-view. As a result, some people are finding the story hard to follow, whereas I just find the repetition an annoying detour that makes me impatient for the present-day scenes that I'm more invested in. Despite that, though, I'm really enjoying this drama, and I wouldn't call it "boring."

Episode 8 was everything I love about this drama, while episode 7 was a prime example of what its biggest weakness is: an over saturation of flashbacks that make the ongoing plot feel draggy.

Most of the flashback scenes involving Kim Jae-Wook we could have done without because we already saw what was import through either Lee Jung Hwan or Jung Bok Gi's backstory, and yet the they somehow felt it was necessary that we see KJW's POV from when LJH broke into his house. The only flashback that was important/relevant was the fate of KJW's parents, which explains his motivation.

I really wish they'd tell the story in a more linear format and save the use of flashbacks for when it reveals a surprising or important detail.

A lot of people strongly in support of either the ML or the FL, but let's be real, they both suck. ML's insistence that FL should accept his consolation prize offer of friendship 10 years ago was inconsiderate of her feelings, and she was perfectly within her rights to reject that offer in order to distance herself and attempt to move on. Now male lead is disrespecting her boundaries again and trying to force a romantic relationship, although, to be fair to ML, FL is horrible at maintaining the boundaries she establishes, which has resulted in a long line of brokenhearted men, including our poor second ML.

While these behaviors are actually VERY common and true to real life relationships, I'm not very keen on watching it play out on television, and I find myself enjoying the secondary characters/couples more.

Can Soo at least have another girl come into his life to spice this up
I have a strong suspicion that the girl he almost confessed to at the airport 10 years ago will pop up again later.

If I have one complaint about the ending, it's that they spent too much time trying to make us believe Eun Soo died rather than showing us what her life is like now that she has proven her innocence and living as a wife and mom. During the latter half of the series, Eun Soo's relationship with Ji Min felt rather platonic, which was understandable given all that was going on--Greater priorities, and all that-- but it would have been nice to have seen some romantic physical affection that clearly indicated that they were a loving couple and that Eun Soo had worked (or was working) through the trauma left by her abusive ex. Additionally, we never get to see her do all those little things she wanted to do for her daughter as her mom. Yes, she did them as Woo Joo's teacher, but for the sake of prolonging the belief that Eun Soo died, we missed out on seeing her cook for her daughter and help her pick out her outfit.

Did Eunsoo die after the surgery? Because she is the only one wearing white when they visited her father's grave??
She's alive. If she had died, like they were initially trying to make us believe, they would have shown her urn/grave to clarify. If her white outfit is meant to symbolize anything, it would probably be purity/innocence because her name is now cleared.

OMG, that mid-credits scene for episode 3 had me DYING! My abs hurt from all the laughing.

Also, for the first time, I have no idea which guy I'm rooting for to end up with the leading lady. I love them both.

Seriously, this show is just getting better and better! I looove how well everything is connected and explained!…
I love the twists and turns, too, and I'm not finding it hard to follow either. That being said, there is a lot of stuff that occurred way in the past that I feel should have just been revealed at the start of the series in a linear progression, as the flashbacks to those events aren't really surprising and just unnecessarily jumble up and intrude on the different events going on closer to the present. I think the time jumping should have been saved for the true surprises, like the car accident and the story behind how ML first met FL.

Everything about this drama is great...except for the editing. I wouldn't change the acting or plot, just the order in which the scenes are shown.

IMO, the series should have started with the earliest events, the ones involving the ledger and the events that led to Kim Jae-Wook is Jung Bok-Ki teaming up. Following that, the current episodes 1 & 2 should have been condensed into one episode, and from that point on the series should have focused on ML's side of the story, his connection to Kim Jae-Wook and Bok-ki and how he met FL. Once in the present, the show should have focused on the FL again as she tried to piece together what happened to ML, maybe occasionally switching to present-day ML when relevant until the two of them meet up again.

At this point, I'm certain that the secretary is KHR's son. I always wondered why her right-hand man was so young.…
I've been thinking this for a long time. I'm trying to remember which episode, but really early on there was a scene where either ex-Secretary Yoon or Eun Soo was talking to the MIL/Chairwoman, and the camera pointedly shot to the young secretary at a key point in the conversation, and my immediate thought was that he was her secret son. I can't remember when it happened, though.

Hm? LOL I'm not getting the same vibes from them (or else I'd be dropping this like a hot potatoe) what are you…
I love Flower of Evil! Except for that last minute amnesia trope, it is was one of the best dramas I've watched in a long time.

Is there any english sub for this? I search it but cannot found where to watch it.
It's on Viki, but it's listed under the title of "My Name is Busaba."

Yeah, currently airing dramas Record of Youth and Tale of the Nine-Tailed have also used this non-chronological form of storytelling. The latter has only aired 4 episodes so far, so it's still too early to say if it was a one-time thing or will be repeated each week. I think a few episodes of Lie After Lie used it, too, but to a lesser extent

Thinking about watching it, but this drama worth starting?
I found the first two episodes sluggish and heavy on the exposition, but three and four were enjoyable. If you do decide to start it, give it at least 3-4 episodes before you decide to drop it or not.

A lot of dramas have been doing this lately, and it is a trend that needs to die, along with them ending an episode on a cliffhanger and then making the first 30 minutes of the next episode be events that occurred before the cliffhanger. Just tell the story linearly if there is no real payoff for having it told out of order.

I dont know. I am not sold. The first episode mainly focused on the female lead and was kind of slow. The second…
I felt the same way; too much exposition that could have been condensed down to one episode. I enjoyed episode 3, though, so I'm hoping it will continue gaining momentum.

Personally, I'd hate it if Dong Yoon amd Song Ah got together. I hate him lol
Haha. I can understand why, for sure, but I can't bring myself to hate him. He's not a bad person; he's just lacking in experience and making a bunch of rookie relationship mistakes. I mostly just feel sorry for him that he's just now learning this at 29-years-old. Yikes!
On Do You Like Brahms? Oct 13, 2020
It would be interesting if the "love story" of this series turns out to not be about a man and woman falling in love through their shared passion for music, but rather a man and woman reconnecting with their love of music through a passing romance.

As much as enjoy Song Ah with Joon Young, I wouldn't hate it if this series ended with a time skip showing that she and the violin maker got together after all. Given her business degree and her love of the violin, it would make sense that she would enter a relationship with him and assist him in his business. I think she's starting to realize that loving the violin doesn't mean she needs to play professionally, especially if dealing with toxic personalities and ranking system take away the fun for her.
