Hey guys... The plot mentioned here and that in asianwiki is somewhat different.... Can someone please clarify... In asianwiki,it is mentioned that hyeok (member of shax) gets injured due to maha and hence kwon ryok gets angry.... something like that... I've watched till 4 episode.. but this doesn't happen... At first I too questioned the same as it was my first time seeing him... But now that after watching all episodes I think he definitely suits that image. The reason some might feel that way at the beginning might be because this show does a poor way of portraying him as idol... The performance was always with same song and so short... They never focussed on his idol life... They more or less show him as someone very popular... Kinda more like an actor than an idol.

It's really good that you got back your patience... But this is testing my patience I think lol... Till now I've dropped only 4 or 5 out of all dramas I've watched so I think I'll stick through the end . Let's hope that something better happens!
This show is really putting me in a tough spot... I myself can't decide whether I like it or not... At first the story started in a great manner with an amazing concept and the fantasy element was also quite unique... I really liked how TDK character handled her situation everytime... She was always miserable but still didn't give up and tried everything so that people around her are happy... She always puts others first... And she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone...
And coming to MM, who seemed to be a total opposite of TDK... He puts himself first as he has undergone a lot of misery due to humans and unable to handle it anymore... Thus a meet between these two was really interesting to watch and the "WISH" thing made it more exciting...
All was good until 5 episodes... But then I think it lost its vibe... Idk why... While the writers thinking to go more unique, did they fail?? Bcaz, everything that was interesting at the beginning seems to be forgotten along the new episodes which makes it boring... And I have to say this... I can't see any chemistry between the leads... I've not seen any of their past works, but here they are not that good... Individually their acting is great but I don't see any spark... Is it because of the story direction?... Bcaz I still don't get how they both changed for each other and love each other... Something is missing out in their storyline... I know it is not an ordinary rom-com drama and I've seen lots of fantasy dramas but this lacks something in the main storyline...
And the only thing that I still like is how they used a young actress for deity.. bcaz usually age old halmeoni will be the deity in fantasy dramas but this was something new... And how they portray the character of deity that holds the burden of world and suffer to maintain the balance... That was really touching... And the question of choice that the leads will make is the main thing holding many of us from getting away from the show... Hope it gets answered properly without any plot hole...
And coming to the second leads of the story, I think it seems like a totally different drama only if TDK and NJN don't know each other... Idk why they added such a second story...and that too with a love triangle... First of all I'm NOT a hater of love triangles... Infact I really like them if executed properly... But here it is totally downhill from the beginning... There is no base as to how the love started between NJN and LHK and why the hell did they breakup... And why LHK is blaming CJI for something... Like nothing is clear here although we are at the 10th episode!!!! And only now the rivalry is happening and that too the FL herself not knowing it... and why the hell both of them take decisions on her behalf... It this just continues I really hope that she rejects both of them and focus on her career and life...
I really started this with high expectations but now I'm in a doubtful state... I've seen many positive comments here about this drama and have tried to understand it but something is missing out that I like, in this drama .. anyways since I've come this far, I'll try to stick till the end as I don't like dropping dramas... Suddenly feels like this drama turned from fantasy to melo... Kinda feels slow and disconnected... And the second leads storyline is totally boring to the core.... Anyways I'll continue only for the main leads... But even their storyline now is somewhat plain... Hope they bring in a twist soon...
I started this drama just without any expectations but now I really like it. It seems to be an ordinary rom-com with age old cliches but it really gives you a light hearted pleasant vibe and the acting is also so natural. It reminds me of the old dramas like you're beautiful which I really like a lot. And the character development of ML is also very great and natural. And FL not being a crybaby (sometimes she is...) always and trying to hold back feels fresh and good to see. This is really a good drama if you want to watch something light hearted and I hope many people would watch it.
Just now completed this masterpiece. As far as the ending, I won't say it is a happy ending because this show proved that it is not possible from EP 1 itself. But still it was a good and satisfactory ending with which many of us agree. The story was too much complicated but it was executed much better than many other shows which failed in execution though with less complications. And really hats off to all the actors. They brought life to the characters. Especially Lee seung hi and Lee hee joon. Will surely miss this drama.
