What a mood. Maki is special in my heart forever and I hope they at least do him justice with this new character. I don't mind fanservice but so often it feels like fanservice is used as an excuse to have a worse storyline. Cause with enough fanservice people will buy into it anyway without the need for more effort. Also absolutely agreed that the theme of CM is unique and doesn't easily fit into just any abroad adaptation.

Their first BL series??!! Even if they butcher it. I am happy they took the deep dive into the BL world. Hongkong has produced some interesting LGBT films in the past but BL will be a new experience. I'm a bit sad they look so young though... Ossans Love had older actors and it made it unique at the time.
Episode 3 does not disappoint. I watched it and there's some wild stuff that happened and extremely interesting developments with the characters. Murderer is playing an interesting game.

It was interesting and a pretty important drama to have for young gay Japanese people as they can see some of their struggles represented. Sometimes I did have to take a step back and remember that the characters are young and make some decisions that aren't necessarily wise. Just based on their limited understanding of the world due to their younger age. All in all had some beautiful moments, some emotional moments and some confusing moments but an interesting story to see.
