Thank you to the cast and production team for a wonderful drama! The acting was superb and the story was intriguing! Congratulations on breaking all cable TV viewer rating numbers in Korea! Truly worth the watch!
I heard from spoilers that there was some crazy birth secret between Hye Na and Ye Seo. Like Hye Na's mom switched the babies or something... But now that the drama is over, I'm really glad there wasn't one. Happy ending although I'm not sure dropping out of high school is the answer to being happy.. If we're being realistic, many people will regret doing that. Haha~
By the way, I know the Coordinator murdered Hye Na but did they ever reveal who pushed Hye Na over the edge? Was it the security guard who went missing? If so, was he caught? I didn't catch that part in the last episode...
This week's episodes were something else. This drama is refreshing and breathtaking. I don't even know what to expect anymore. That cliffhanger... Holy...
Bravo to the writer and actors once again! Brilliant performances all around!
Horrible ending. So many storylines unresolved; ending is so unsatisfying/rushed/inconclusive. Throughout the…
It's really not getting that much slam from K-netizens lol. It's definitely a controversial topic of debate where a lot of people argue that the ending was well-done or poorly concluded. It's really a matter of was it better to end with some ideal fantasy resolution? Or better to end it with cliff-hanger that portrayed how the problem ends in the real world. What Life's ending showed isn't merely a "oh my god they didn't solve anything." But rather it was a portrayal of the issues South Korea society is dealing with, and how it isn't just solvable at the snap of a finger. But rather it's the small things in life that bring people together to gradually bring about a change.
I had high expectations for writer Lee Soo Yeon as well, and I don't believe she disappointed.
Thank you to Lee Soo Yeon for yet another masterpiece and the rest of cast and staff for producing such a memorable drama!!! This is a must watch drama!!
I just finished episode 12, and I just want to say this is one of the greatest Korean Dramas I have ever seen. Absolutely brilliant and thought-provoking. Legality vs Morality. Truth vs Resolution of Conflict. Rights of individual vs Common good. Equality vs Discretion. Simply breathtaking.
Funny how the rating was at 9.4 until the English subtitles came out, and then it just plummeted to 8.6. How is…
The drama is only 5 episodes in so far so nobody actually knows exactly how good or bad this drama as a whole is. Ratings for an airing drama are meh... Only around 75 people who feel strongly enough about the show to rate it already have an influence on the average rating. One person who hates the drama strongly enough to give it a 1 will already have skewed the average way down.
I think you shouldn't really care or worry about the ratings of a drama on this site. The rating doesn't really matter as long as you yourself enjoy it and think it's well-made.
Guys please i need your advice for this one currently i'm watching episode 3 .In episode 3 about 35 minute in…
I understand the disappointment from viewers that watch Life in order to have an easy watch that is highly funny and enjoyable. So far I would describe Life as confusing and vehement rather than fun and pleasuring. Life is more of a dialogue-based drama that is simply dark and portrays realistic hospital business and politics, which I think makes it boring to a lot of viewers. My personal favorite aspect of this drama is that there really isn't a "good guy" or a "villain" but rather two different perspectives with both sides having reasonable argument for what they believe needs to be done within a hospital for it to function properly. Both the doctors in the hospital who work endless hours and the businessmen who seem to focus on making a profit out of hospitals have their flaws.
Honestly, this drama is definitely not for everyone and probably won't gain crazy popularity compared to what the writer and cast would be expected to receive, but for people who want to watch an intense power-struggle between (hospital) doctors, businessmen, and the government, this is definitely a thought-provoker.
I also think the first two episodes of the drama were confusing and didn't have much to them simply because they had to set the base of the story and introduce the characters. I had to pay close attention to really understand what the hell was happening. Life picked up a lot in episode 4 to be honest.
With that said, I have full faith in writer Lee Soo Yeon and the rest of the cast, especially Jo Seung Woo, to deliver a captivating drama as the show goes on.
Superb start! The unique and realistic portrayal of dark hospital business and politics is captivating. The acting is just amazing. As expected of this stacked veteran cast. Hopefully the episodes get subbed soon so everyone can watch it!
A refreshing drama that depicts an aspect of reality in South Korea. Criticizes the current criminal justice system in South Korea, and portrays the perspective of the police in our everyday situations. The terrible scars and burden that people carry with them in our lives.
Very emotional and touching. Underrated amazing drama! Cast acting skills is no joke!
Best drama of 2018 so far, and one of the best all time.

South Korea's movement for Democracy is a tragedy and a miracle.
Also.. What a stacked cast.
10/10.
