Well I did like the show till episode 4 then it just goes downhill

Improvements for the show ( based on my opinion)
1. Just focus on the ml and the baby. - this would have made the show stand out against most of the other childcare shows which also have heavy emphasis on romance.
2. Focus more on the characters psychology and trauma - this would have given the drama without the need of romantic plots.
3. Show the full regaining of the ml's love of photography - from hate to just to keep them a float to genuine passion.
4. Show more of his friends - they are genuinely funny and they could have a brother like bond with the ml highlighting a past he has lost.
5. Make the father more manipulative and a genuine threat - he shouldn't be a threat like he is threatening the baby's life but more of a psychological manipulator kind someone who makes the ml question his credibility as a guardian.
6. Bit more focus on the photography industry - we could see how he uses lightning how he gets clients and methods he uses for exposure.
7. More scenes in his childhood with his brother - this could be triggered by things the baby does. He could feel resentment and sorrow when the baby reminds him of his brother, he could feel self pity when the baby reminds him of himself.
8. We could see relationship problems with his clients - when he goes to photograph for events we could his client having disagreement with their family which could parallel the ml's own relationship.

Would you guys watch this if it was a show ?

I don't hate her because I feel like she's choosing the 2ML. In fact hate is a strong word. I don't like her character and how she acted morally superior one in the first episode and go on to be careless and not prioritize the baby even gets offended when the ml calls her out on her on hypocrisy. Again why would the ml care about the son of the man who abandoned him in the ml's mind his brother is no longer his family. While the fl loved her sister there is a difference. One of them lost the person they were closest to the other lost a complete stranger who he didn't have any malicious intention towards. Some people just want to distance themselves from trauma. Because she is the guardian she is legally obligated to care for the baby not the uncle.

Huh I don't get you ? This is my actual account I was merely asking if what I said was a hot take. In my opinion if the ml was like fl and FL was like the ml he would be labeled a red flag and everyone would be shitting on him.

She is the legal guardian. It's her nephew too her own sister's son. She was the one who made the grand declaration in episode 1 and gave an entire speech of raising woo joo. Guess who constantly steps up and constantly sacrificing for the baby and her. The ml. He didn't want anything to do with the baby since he and his brother were strangers. Honestly did you watch the first episode with your eyes closed ?

Is it a hot take if I said if the fl and ml's role would have been reversed no one would be defending the ml ? Or will the reception be similair ?

The problem is the show has long strayed from it's premise it's love triangle disguised as childcare/ found family show. The hospital scene really showed the FL's true colours. She isn't a bad person but an unorganized one. The ml deserved better. So does the baby.

Who is this "you" you are referring to ? In my opinion she doesn't owe the ml a relationship she owes him a yes or no answer. Even a I'm not sure or I'm not looking for a relationship would be enough.

We watch a drama and share our thoughts on it. Simple nothing more nothing less. This is not for the producers it's because we have thing called free will.

Even if it's saved and has a okish ending the rewatch value is quite low. I don't usually judge a show before it ends but the writers keep dragging the love triangle as if they have episodes to spare. It feels like a a love triangle drama disguised as a found family show.

I don't post comments like at all but my betrayal was so deep that I decided to post it anyways. This show is carried by the chemistry between the ml and baby woojoo. The fl took the responsibility of the kid yet the ml is the one who made sacrifices for the baby. The love triangle was unnecessary. I really dislike this trope in general but if done right and used for character development then I wouldn't mind but it's taking up way too much of the show.
Ways this show could have been better.
1. Make the ml the main character and no need of romance.
2. The show could have focused on him trying to heal his inner child by raising his nephew and slowly rediscovering his passion for photography, while trying to juggle raising a child.
3. Show actual brotherhood with his friends.
4. Explore both the baby's and ml's trauma.
